Staff members of Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Edward is a lifelong resident of Walthall County and has been in the funeral business for 50 years serving as a licensed funeral director and as mayor of Tylertown for 30 years.Hughes is a member of Tylertown Baptist Church and is very active in church, civic, and community activities. He and his wife Linda have 5 children and 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Our comfortable, attractive facilities can accommodate gatherings of any size, with peaceful areas where family and friends can gather to celebrate the life that has passed. Take Hwy 98 East (exit 15A) to the first traffic light in Tylertown (Tylertown Plaza will be on your left). At the light take a RIGHT onto Hwy 583 South.
