Re-keying is the process of changing the pins in a lock's cylinder to work on a different key. When a lock is re-keyed, new keys are provided - with as many duplicates as necessary - and the old keys will no longer work. Re-keying can also be done as a pre-emptive measure if you suspect that someone has gained access to your keys.
Contrary to their image, most burglars are not skilled professionals. They generally do not pick locks or have access to such tools, and are not experienced criminals out on a crime spree. The average burglar is a young kid in his teens or early twenties from a local neighborhood. Their greatest tool is common sense, which is why they can often be defeated by applying a little common sense of your own.
The term 'access control' refers to controlling access to facilities in a more definite way than by standard locks and keys. By simply reprogramming your electronic locks, you can grant, revoke, or limit access to your company's resources in just a few minutes and audit the locks to find out who has been inside.
The advent of electronics has given employers the ability to exercise more control over their employees' access than was ever previously possible. Security systems that integrate mechanical and electronic technology to provide control are called "access control" systems. Systems are made up of several different components which, although costly, can be customized and provide a high level of control.
The process of controlling the distribution of keys in a system is sometimes referred to as "key control". Keys in a standard system are easily copied by anyone who has access, from the company president down to a part-time cleaning person. Conscientious security managers will sometimes print "Do Not Duplicate" on the key, but this provides only a small defense.

Mike was amazing to work with. We had an unfortunate incident with our bathroom door locking from the outside and he came over within 15 min and was able to get the issue resolved. He was also very transparent when parts had to be ordered and when they would arrive. Mike is super helpful, knowledgeable and was a pleasurer to work with. Would definitely recommend him and this company to all. 10/10

My family & I have used this company for over 7 years now, very dependable, professional and reasonable. Recently on this Christmas eve my front door lock jammed and could only lock from inside leaving an unlocked patio door for coming & going. I called them first thing on Monday and they fit me in to replace my front door lock so now no worries!. Highly recommend them.
