Dallas Furniture Bank provides furniture to families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness or otherwise in need of basic household furniture. Dallas Furniture Bank was established in 2003 in response to the lack of furniture resources for homeless people who secure housing.
Before DFB, many of these families and individuals had no furniture to move into their new homes and were forced to sleep and eat on the floor and exist daily in a barren place--conditions not even experienced in their shelter living. The effort was spearheaded by long-time friends and community volunteers Sheryl Fields Bogen and Jerry Szor.

Unprofessional from the start. I sent Dallas Furniture Bank a message, asking for simple information on behalf of a friend that's lost all they had in a 2020 fire and recently, lost the few things he could… replace, to a flood due to an apartment's busted pipes during the winter storm. My message was viewed, but no reply. I then left a message stating I see where my message was seen but why no response...well they saw that TOO and still wouldn't reply.
