I just saw Dr. Carstairs for my second appointment and I can say as a former dental assistant, he is the best in this valley! I have been looking for an excellent dentist here for ten years and I finally found him. He has a naturally calm and comforting personality and is an excellent technician as well. His staff is also lovely to deal with and a perfect compliment to him. So thrilled to have found my "dental home." Great job Dr. Carstair's and Staff!

Noticed my previous review is almost two years old. Nothing changed. Still five stars and a great place to go for dental treatment.

Everything was explained thoroughly while seeing images of my teeth on the screen. Staff was very friendly and most importantly took care of my teeth. High recommendation from me.

Dr. Carstairs is FANTASTIC!! I had the worse ever tooth ache on a Saturday. I didn't want to bother him on the weekend, but I decided to leave a message. He called back almost immediately and tried to diagnose the problem. He gave me a prescription that I had filled and it helped. Then, to my surprise, he called me on Sunday afternoon to follow up and invited me to come to his office where he did a very thorough exam. Another prescription and more improvement. WOW, a Saturday consultation and a SUNDAY office visit. I highly recommend Dr. Carstairs. He is very professional, knowledgeable

Everyone thinks their dentist is above average so word of mouth and most reviews don’t help a lot when you need to identify a great dentist. I have been through enough serious dental work to know a great dentist when I am treated by one and I will share with you why I am certain that Dr. Jamie Carstairs is a superb general dentist.
I am hard to numb. Dentists send me home with notes on what eventually worked, that’s how hard it is to numb my teeth. My bite is tricky so dentists tend to grind my crowns after they’re in. Four crowns, four dentists, all of them grinding away on my not-quite

Very impressed! Just moved to Heritage Palms in the desert and needed to find a dentist. Saw that Dr. Carstairs had amazing recommendations on the Neighborhood app. so we thought we'd give him a try. We went today for the first time and we're very pleased.
First: communications. They texted to confirm our appointments, then texted a reminder a week before, then again the day before. The day of the appointment, they texted to let us know to text from the car to tell them that we were there. They acknowledged, then texted when it was ok to enter the lobby.
Second: Staff. Very organized and personable

Dr. Carstairs and his staff are very professional and caring. They just reopened after being in lockdown from COVID-19. Went today for my 6 month check-up and cleaning and they have their patients and staffs concern in mind, as many measures have been taken to keep everyone safe. I highly recommend Eclipse Dental.

Most people hate going to the dentist, but honestly, I can't wait for my next appointment! I just had my first visit with Dr. Carstairs and he was wonderful...professional, caring, explaining everything very thoroughly and he is so kind. Assistant Mickey was also thoughtful and very nice. Being new to the area, I've had to establish relationships with all new doctors and I would recommend this office to anyone! This experience would be great for children or for anyone who was afraid of going to the dentist. Thank you...

Unless you truly do...he will make sure that you are completely satisfied with your dental experience... his kind and patient nature is very comforting for those who are anxious at a dental office..The gals that work there are equally terrific...give this office a try..you will be happy that you did!

I was recommended to Dr. Carstairs and of course waited until I had an urgent problem. They were so kind and got me right in. Took the time to sit down and talk to me. I'm not a great fan of dentists but felt very comfortable with Dr. Carstairs and his staff. I actually made another appointment without being prompted. I recommend this dentist and how professional they were. Very nice, clean office and they were very prompt getting me in.

I have been in the field for 20 years and well aware of the good the bad and ugly. I worked for a general dentist for 15 years (also where all my treatment was done) and didn't think I would be able to find a dentist that would provide the same comfort. I FOUND HIM!! Love this office , their hygienist and especially Dr.Carstairs! His touch is gentle and his treatment request are conservative and precise. No nickel and diming or insurance tricks. Honest and trustworthy! If you have lost trust and confidence in your dentist you should give this office a call!! You will not be disappointed

I needed a new dentist in this area and chose Eclipse from an ad they had placed in the Sun City Shadow hills community magazine. Dr Carstairs is very personable and really has your best interest in mind. He does a very comprehensive exam and cleaning and doesn't oversell anything as a lot of dentists do. He goes over everything with you from the X-rays to photos of your teeth to show you where potential problems are. I highly recommend his practice. He is from the Coachella Valley and really cares about his patients

I live in Orange County, but drive all the way to the desert to see Dr. Carstairs. By far, he is the best dentist that I have ever gone to see. Dr. Carstairs is professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Luckily, I've only needed to have cleanings, xrays, and exams by him, but if I ever did need more, I would trust him completely. He also has a clean office and clean examination rooms, which is always a major plus!

I was more than impressed by Dr. Carstairs and his assistant Rene. He was thorough and explained everything he was doing and provided full info for me to make my decisions.
