So my mom had locked herself out of our house and we were in NY at the time so our only option was to get a locksmith to come out. I can't tell you how many I called before landing on Budget Lock & Key. They were all too busy, they gave numbers to other locksmiths, they didn't have anyone available or I had to make an appt. Which only added to my stress especially being 2,000 miles away. Tom was right on time, if not even a little early. He knew I had to leave the house at a certain time. He was quick and efficient. I called on a Tuesday evening at 4:30 and he was at my house at 8AM that next day. He got a key out that had broken off and created two new keys in under 20 mins. Highly recommend!

Tom was very friendly and efficient. He answered a few specific questions I had over the phone, and we then made an appointment for a few days later. He arrived on time and quickly installed 3 new locks/handles, which we wanted for 'aesthetics' upgrades. Everything looks very nice!

I had some locks replaced by Tom @ Budget Lock and Key and although he was quick, something just didn't seem right. Halfway through the job, he asked me for one of my old keys. He didn't tell me why he wanted the key and didn't make it clear that he intend on keeping it. When he left, neither the old tumblers nor the old key were left behind. He should have asked me for permission to take my key and tumblers.
Once he left, I texted and asked him several times why he took the key, he couldn't give me an answer. Instead he wanted to know why I wanted it and offered to mail it
