With over 60 years of combined experience, the attorneys of Skinner Law Firm focus on representing people, not insurance companies or big corporations. We are proud to bring our experiences from across the United States back home to our region. In 1969, after serving as Prosecuting Attorney of Jefferson County, John C. Skinner, Jr. joined his mentor and friend, F. Dean Nichols, and founded the law firm of Nichols & Skinner.
Andrew C. Skinner grew up in Charles Town, West Virginia. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1988 and then attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, from which he received a bachelor's degree in economics in 1992. Andrew participated in the ROTC program at William and Mary and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army.

On April 4 2019, my husband and I were involved in a head-on collision. I sustained some injuries but my husband was airlifted to Morgantown due to his serious multiple injuries.After several surgeries and weeks in the hospital, he returned home.
