Services
Crandall Eye was founded by Dr. Elizabeth Crandall with the idea that a solo provider can still provide exceptional customer service and quality eye care. After cold calling many communities throughout the South East, Wayne Memorial Hospital answered and thought it was a great idea. As soon as Dr. Crandall graduated, she set forth to be one of the very few brave enough to go out and practice medicine as a solo practitioner.
Once we receive a fax we will promptly schedule the patient and include a date for your charts. We give each patient 3 attempts to schedule, after which we will send a note back to you for your records if unable to schedule. After the patient is seen you will receive a consult letter with Dr. Crandall's findings along with any follow-up instructions.

The best part of this office is your receptionist! I called crying hysterically due to unbearable eye pain/pressure. She reassured me that everything was gonna be okay. She made my appointment. Never belittled me in any way!
The drive from Claxton, Ga to Jesup, Ga was not an issue, because I honestly believed THIS OFFICE would help me.
I was so excited about coming to see the eye doctor!
My hopes where soon crushed by the doctors option of my eye pain.
She suggested eye drops for my dry eyes, which were VERY DRY due to me crying.
The drops did not help. My husband seen how upset I was and

My visit turned out bad. Three visits, and I have is 1 pair of glasses I can’t wear because of the wrong prescription, and no contact lens that I ask for. They admitted that they made a mistake for the prescription of the glasses, but still have yet to make it right. Time with Dr. is very short, about one and one half minutes.

Dr. Crandall and all of the staff were wonderful. From Vicki being the friendliest receptionist you have ever met, to Liz and Sydney being SO patient and understanding with my child throughout her exam, to Dr. Crandall being so professional and thorough; she even called later to check in on my daughter and to see how she was doing ...I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else! (The office is very nicely decorated as well; coastal and calming.) Thank you!!!
