What is now Munson Inc., first started as Milwaukee Fence & Supply Corp. by James B. Munson in 1955. The sale of all types of fence, guard rail and security partitions was the main business function. In 1963 the time was right to diversify.
Asphalt paving work, which included grading, asphalt paving, asphalt sealing, tennis court construction, and many other asphalt related services to industrial, commercial and residential customers, was formed as Munson-Armstrong Paving Co.In 1968 the company name was changed to the affiliated corporations of Munson Fence Inc. and Munson-Armstrong Paving Inc.

Paying attention to details. That's how MUNSON-ARMSTRONG PAVING DIV. has built its name and reputation since 1963 in Asphalt Paving. Details like considering variable ground and soil conditions, refusing to take short-cuts in the necessary prep work - and then demanding nothing less than the finest quality finish work.
Having clear, quality asphalt striping is the finishing touch to your paved parking lot or newly repair or seal coated project. Not only is parking lot line striping important to the functionality of your location, it also improves the appearance. Clean, clear lines that don't show signs of wear give the exterior of your business or office a fresh look and show that you care about the maintenance and appearance of your building.
It's a proven fact- when you constantly provide the finest possible products and service, you not only become an industry leader, you become a name. Since 1955, MUNSON FENCE DIV. has been the name that says it all in Waukesha and Milwaukee Wisconsin. From a perimeter security fence and tall indoor enclosures for Waukesha's commercial and industrial leaders, to distinctive residential pool and backyard fences, we do it all.
In general, older buildings in southeastern Wisconsin were not designed to be easily accessible for people with disabilities. Providing building access can be problematic when it involves changes to features and/or materials contributing to the facility's historical character. John the Evangelist sought to improve public access to the Archbishop Weakland Center.
Is there a lake in your Parking lot? Ponding, puddling or standing water in your Milwaukee Parking lot can cause a variety of problems. A lake in your parking lot (also known as ponding or puddling) is much more than a joke, eye sore, or waste of otherwise valuable real estate. Standing water presents liability issues for owners and developers and major safety hazards for anyone accessing your parking lot.

The best asphalt-ers this side of the Mississippi! I got to talking with the crew and Dylan was the gentleman i had a great conversation with. He was quite the hard worker, and pretty easy on the eyes! I don't think I saw him take a break the whole time they were asphalting my kitchen and bedroom! I'd definitely recommend Munson to everyone.

I've used Munson for years to do asphalt paving and sealing. Reliable, solid work. I don't doubt that they may do the same with fences. I won't know, however, because the phone message I received simply informed me that they are not taking new work at this time. This was helpful for my planning purposes. I wondered if anyone thought to indicate that in their website.

I'm a contractor from out of town which usually means that I don't carry the value of a repeat customer. Munson was quick to respond and had fair pricing. They did a great job and got it done very quickly. They also were very accommodating in helping me with some items that were not in their scope of work. I would use them again without question.

We were told in June when Joe came out to measure that installation would be about 3 weeks. It took about 10 days to get the quote and when I asked what the cost difference would be to change the height by a foot, it took another 10 days to get an answer on that. Finally approved the original quote on July 11th and have had to continually call for a status. Been put off for various reasons, and still no date to start. No customer service whatsoever. If they’re too busy to do my job, they should have just said so!

Helpful, friendly on budget, on time and a great job. all the things you would expect to be done, but these guys do it really well and even helped keep us on schedule. They really care about their customer and go above and beyond what needs to be do. I wouldn't even think about using anyone else. Thanks Munson
