We at b4computers are a technology service provider in New York City. We provide onsite computer service for businesses and homes. We gained our experience working for other corporations being eventually promoted to head of the IT department. Our main technician has been working in the field since 1996.
In NYC, we provide onsite computer service at your home and office. Currently onsite computer service is provided in Manhattan NY and Brooklyn New York. We also have two drop off computer service locations for customers who wish to drop off and pick up their computers. In most instances you can drop it off in the morning get your Computer or Laptop fixed and pick it up after work.
Windows 10 went on sale and we are happy to report it is a significant improvement over Windows 8/7. Windows 10 has all the new features of Windows 8 with the familiarity of Windows 7. Your computer is eligible for the free Windows 10 upgrade, if you have windows 7 or 8. You should definitely upgrade to Windows 10.
We repair cracked, dim, broken or flickering LCD / LED screens for laptops, notebook or netbook in NYC. We are experienced with all manufacturers such as Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Sony, IBM, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Samsung, Compaq, Acer and others. We charge $75 for most of laptop screen replacements in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
There are two levels of hard drive data recovery there is a software and hardware level. We provide software level data recovery service. Software level data recovery is much cheaper when compared to hardware level and is the recommended first step to take. A typical hard drives last between 3 to 5 years.

I don't like posting reviews on companies I didnt receive a full service from but my experience was so unprofessional I have to. I inquired with this store due to all the good reviews but was sorely shocked at the customer service. Extremely rude and patronizing. Demands I bring him a $150 deposit in cash before even looking at the computer and when asked why gave a nasty reply. The attitude was so sour I unfortunately had to look elsewhere.

Great, prompt service. I called in the middle of the day when my laptop shut down, and explained that I needed it back as soon as possible for work. Ludovic had it back to me by the end of the day, so that I could use it while he located an additional replacement part. Highly recommend.

My laptop screen was completely cracked. I contacted Lu and it was very easy for him to find out the exact screen I needed to replace it. He did the research for me and sent me a link. I ordered it and as soon as it came in the mail I was able to schedule an appointment that same day to get it repaired. Not only was I able to get it repaired the same day, I also was able to pick it up the same day. He's fast and efficient and great on communication. You do have to pay in cash but hey, every business has there preference. I totally recommend him! My computer feels and looks brand new again!

Awesome work and would highly recommend!! The guy/(owner?) is a bit gruff/blunt on the phone but he was able to meet on short notice. He took my 8 year old MacBook, which wasn't taking a charge, spent about 30 minutes with it, and discovered a slightly damaged part in the charging unit.
Then, being considerate of the fact that I was frantically trying to resurrect my laptop for a late afternoon video call and didn't have time to wait several days for a replacement part, he used a special kind of tape to kinda jury rig the damaged part back into place. And it works!!!

Trying to decide wether to post this review or not. Asked this gentleman to come over and look at my daughters computer after just having moved to NY. He said it was cash only. He called for the appointment and I let him know that I only had enough cash to pay for two hours of his service. There was no flexibility on any other method of payment. Never did I say I would not pay, I indicated that I only could afford two of his hours, so hopefully it could get done on that time. He then called me back and refused to help us, and on top of that was rude and very un-empathetic. If he had been flexible

My review is for service I received over the phone that caused me to bring my laptop somewhere else. I felt the guy on the phone was being rude to me because I sounded like a young woman. I like my laptop repairs without a side of sexism, thanks.
My laptop had water damage and the guy was suggesting I bring it in to be cleaned and then maybe it would work - $150 either way. I asked if the alcohol swabbing was the type of thing I could do myself and this is what set the guy off - he kept telling me “not to dump alcohol on my computer”. I really felt like he wouldn’t have responded this way

Wow. Can't say enough about B4 Computers. I've had my computer repaired twice from B4. The most recent occurrence came after another place was unresponsive and unreliable, resulting in calling B4 to see if they would b able to assist. Thankfully, B4 was able to repair my computer in less than a day. Not only were they quick to turn around but they were responsive, professional and reasonable. If you need your computer repaired, definitely check this place out- highly recommend!

Spilled hot tea on my MacBook Pro laptop(2011). Took it to Ludovik (@ aforementioned garment store) who assessed $150 for a cleaning of the computer's internal components. I was skeptical that the computer could be repaired. Other shops quoted me at $300 for a similar cleaning so I went w/ Ludovik. After 2 days he informed me I needed to replace the MagSafe board for $50. Again I was skeptical since the computer wasn't fully diagnosed and I didn't know if I was going to replace every component. If you need fast reliable help with a laptop that is not working, this is the place to go. I initially called to ask about the service, Ludovik asked me some questions in the phone and immediately identified the problem. Ludovik fixed my computer when nobody else -- including Best Buy, the Geek Squad, and other professional technology repair places -- had a clue what to do. He was polite, intelligent, very fast, and affordable. I was always informed about my choices and I trusted that I was never being taken advantage of. All in all I had a fantastic experience. I'd recommend to anyone and everyone.

To build a safer city, I strongly believe Major de Blasio should build a new city department for computer emergency, so that there will be much less yelling, crying, cat-kicking crazy people angered by paralyzed computers hanging around. If so, I highly recommend Ludovik from B4Computers to be the head of this new department, because his service is as forceful as NYPD and as prompt as FDNY... Found B4Computers by chance, and they saved me and my Wednesday morning presentation. Last Monday morning before work, my hard drive crashed. Fail. It was essential to try to recover my documents, but I didn't have time myself. I came across B4Computers while driving to work. I crossed my fingers and bid farewell to my blue screen.
