Do NOT under any circumstances use this company to move your boat! I booked 3+ weeks in advance and called twice in between to confirm and they no-showed for my appointment. No phone call, nothing. After I called they said they would pick it up later that week, then the next week and no-showed again both times, I gave up and used another company. Absolutely terrible.

Avoid this company like the plague. We had our boat shipment pickup date delayed several times before I discovered the terrible online reviews for this company. My experience mirrored the complaints on these reviews; broken promises, lame excuses, and delays. I fired them on their 4th cancellation and likely avoided further delays and potential physical damages to the boat, like many others have experienced.
The dispatcher, Shawn Mangan, is particularly inept and will lie to your face about schedule. Don't use these guys.

Love this company. They have been in business for over 50 years and the most experienced boat movers in the nation. Have tens of thousands of successful moves to their reputation. Also, have 50+ trucks and 200+ custom boat trailers to accommodate ANY size powerboat or sailboat.
Many of the employee’s & drivers have been with the company 30+ years. That speaks volumes.
They are professional, have the right equipment and experience to move ANYTHING - ANYWHERE!!! Even international too.
That is why ALL the boat manufactures and private owners use Joule Yacht Transportation. They get the job done

I recently had a Down East style power boat purchased in Marshfield,
Mass, shipped to a boat yard in St. Augustine, Fla. It was picked up on
a Friday morning, and was not delivered until a Monday afternoon, 17
days later. I was told to expect it the Monday, following the pick up, 3
days it would take to transport that route. I was told three different
times of expected drop dates. I was not kept informed as to where
the boat was unless I became arrogant in my demands. Also, the boat yard was put out because when a date was promised, they had the

Hired this company to transport my boat from Colorado to Florida and they damaged my boat 2 miles from marina. Driver told me it was his fault and would take care of it. Then 4 months later after I fixed the boat the management at company said they would not be paying for it because of some clauses in the contract I had not followed even though the driver approved the boat for shipping. I would stay away and find someone else to move your boat.

I own a yacht brokerage and deal with many marine logistics companies. Last year they bid on a job and the price was attractive, and so was the promised timing. I went with Joule (Dave Thompson) and scheduled captains, haul outs, prepping of the boat - EVERYTHING - based on the timing THAT JOULE SUGGESTED! They postponed once - and of that I was understanding. Then, the day before the boat was to be loaded - I was told they couldn't do it based on a shift toward their bigger customers. I was disappointed to say the least. I have some customers that are bigger than others - but I still keep my promises

Very Poor customer service, bumped out my pick up times 7 times over 3 weeks, each time I was having to advise the departing and receiving Marinas it again was delayed, finally picked up my boat 42 Whaler on a Thursday told me it should be there the following Tuesday, when I called Monday to find out the drivers location they told me it had not even left their yard. It became a joke to the Marina scheduled to off load, Oh and yes prepaid everything and 2 weeks notice given prior to original pick up.

THINK TWICE BEFORE USING JOULE YACHT! I paid a few thousand extra because I thought they would provide the best job. They picked up my boat in Miami on April 17th, and told me it would arrive in New Jersey 2-3 days later. They kept it in their Florida yard for 13 days and it finally arrived on May 3rd. There was some damage to the boat and they told me they would cover the repairs, then they changed their mind.

Agreed on a price and a date for pick-up. They notified my 2 business days ahead of that time that they wouldn't be able to meet the date and rescheduled for a week and a half later. They notified me the day before the next date to cancel and essentially admitted they were busy with manufacturers boats and I would be put off by another month. They use third party drivers and don't have control over schedules. No apologies. Not worth your time, steer clear.
