Our first principle as a company has always been an uncompromising drive to give our customers food that exceeds all of their expectations. Our food is never bland, and never from the "rubber chicken circuit." From the Executive Chef to the dish washer, flavor comes first with Jnz. Bored-looking servers in the same white shirt/black tie uniform wishing they were somewhere else.
You and your staff did a fantastic job on Friday night. I really think that it was our most successful Major Donor Event that we have had. The people are awesome to work with. Professional, kind and helpful. They were confident about being able to accommodate making belizean rice and beans, belizean potato salad, and belizean stewed chicken. We provided you tube videos to ensure they knew the exact recipe. A few days before the wedding we had a tasting, the chef was awesome, he did a great job at the tasting everything pretty much was as close to the real thing. The day of the wedding (only 60 people attended) the rice and beans were nothing like they were at the tasting. They were made incorrectly and even tasted nasty. The potato

Do not use this service if you have any concerns about providing meals for individuals with dietary requests or restrictions. The unprofessional staff gave out a bag labeled "vegetarian" to all gluten free event attendees. When asked if the wrong bag was handed out, they said "yeah that's for the gluten free people". There's a cookie in the bag. "Are you sure this is safe? Some people bleed or vomit with celiac wheat reactions" to which they said they were not supposed to have cookies in the bag. We used Jonz Catering for our wedding in September 2019 and I am incredibly pleased with the outcome. We knew we wanted a Mexican food buffet and to have chips/sales/guac/queso during our cocktail hour. Our guests really loved the food and many commented on how delicious and fun it was. The Jonz staff did an amazing job with setup, service, clean up, etc. They even prepared plates for my husband and I so we didn't have to go through the buffet line. Everything turned out just as planned.

This place deserves more traffic and reviews. I got married in October. All vegan wedding. The chef was fantastic and crazy confident and said he would love to make vegan for us. Everything we tasted and stuff at the tasting blew us away. We ended up going with a taco bar buffet with all the food we didn't even sample and they just blew us away! A month ago I co-hosted a surprise birthday party for 40 guests in the garden at my home in Gig Harbor. We had Jonz cater our event and I can say without reservation that they made it a smashing success! We worked with Kelly who was very helpful in selecting the menu and planning the party from beginning to end. It was a casual affair where guests could sit at tables or mill around. Kudos to Jonz Catering for providing the food for our daughters wedding! We had lost our caterer and we're in a bit of a panic when I found Jonz. They were professional, flexible and affordable but best of all they provided delicious food. The pulled pork tacos were excellent! The staff were great from start to finish.

We used Jonz Catering for the first time for a political event at our home. The first contact with the owner immediately put us at ease. There is a seemingly unlimited choice of food and drink, and Linda made sure we were comfortable with the cost and food choices. There was no up-selling or hidden fees. Cannot say enough positive about this catering company. Had our wedding catered by them and from the first walk through at the venue (LeMay Car Museum- Tacoma) it was a great experience. They had helpful ideas on set up and made us feel very confident that all the details would be addressed. Our wedding date came and they were right on time, had speedy set up and were very helpful with other details that I had added last minute. I am a Corporate Events Planner for very large events and this is one of the best catering experiences I've had from start to finish. Angie was AWESOME! She listened to what I was looking for and nailed it on her first proposal. She was incredibly responsive, drew a diagram without having to be asked, made changes quickly, was always pleasant, friendly and caring. The food was great and on-site execution was excellent. Linda and her team at Jonz Food Concepts are a dream to work with! I wanted a plated meal with a customized menu that showcased my husband's Chilean heritage for 75 people, and boy did they deliver! And this was after we talked with another catering company across the bridge that adamantly (and in a rude way) claimed that in our chosen reception space, the Point Defiance Pagoda, a plated meal with servers was not doable, period, and that we needed to do a buffet, how they normally do things. The folks at Jonz Catering have been taking great care of us for 10 years now. I have used them for non profit events that have served anywhere from 20 people to 200. They go the extra mile to accommodate special request on menu and food preferences for particular guests. They have provided everything from a sit down elegant plated 3 course meal out by the water, to a 120 guest complicated menu in a venue with no kitchen. Horrid attitude... I'm sure that they're be great for those who have endless amounts of money. My wife and I where shopping around for an affordable catering company because we where on a budget for the wedding. We sent a very kind email letting them know our budget and if it was something they could work with. Sheer arrogance is what I got from these people. My girlfriend said to try them, even though she did not have an awesome experience like what the other two reviewers are stating. She had only used them because they were close to her home.

Jonz recently catered my wedding held at a private residence, and did a fantastic job. They worked with us to design a custom menu, such as clam chowder shooters to tie in my husband's east coast upbringing and making a favorite salad of ours. All of the food was awesome, although my husband said his beef was warm instead of hot (I didn't notice). The waiters went above and beyond, doing things like helping my grandpa carry his food (he has a cane). We just recently moved to University Place and decided to have an open house so all our friends could see our new place. Of course didn't want to cook and finding a catering company that would come to our house appeared difficult since all wanted you to come to their establishment and have the party there - got these people out of the phone book and couldn't have been more pleased. Food was absolutely outstanding, over the top one guest called it.
