Services
In 1948, Leo and Jean Moeglein established Moeglein Funeral Home in Gilbert, MN. In 1958 they expanded the business to Aurora, MN. In 1972 Eldon and Lois Ziemer purchased the business. The funeral home became Ziemer-Moeglein. In 1992 Keith Shatava served his internship and in 1997, purchased the business when Eldon and Lois became ill.
Staff members of Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Keith was a 1988 graduate of Pine City High School and later graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Mortuary Science Program in 1992.
