I have been representing buyers and sellers of Kona homes, condos and land since 1987. I specialize in the area around Kailua-Kona and Holualoa (from Makalei to Kealakekua, including Kalaoa and Keauhou), a small part of the aptly named "Big" Island of Hawaii. I was born and raised in Leicester, England, about 100 miles north of London.
After graduating from the nearby University of Birmingham, with a degree in sociology, I traveled extensively through Europe, Asia and the Americas. I finally reached the Kona Coast in 1977, when there was only one stop light in West Hawaii, and have lived here ever since. At first I worked on Kona coffee farms, in food and beverage in several restaurants and hotels, and as a technician at the NELHA Natural Energy Lab.
