We are currently offering classes on Monday thru Friday. We accept new students via appointment and interview only.

Children today are our future tomorrow. What our future beholds will then depend upon what foundations were beneath our children's feet when they began their journey. Bushido (Way of the Warrior) for kids centers around the development of the core elements and life skills necessary to succeed in life.
Testing & Advancement: Most schools charge for Belt Testing and advancement, however, we are proud of our student's hard work and dedication so we do not charge for testing, we must however cover the cost of new belts so there is a fee of $10.00 for a new or colored belt (Students may be eligible for testing after 60 classes at each rank - They receive a stripe on their belt every twenty practices so they always know how close they are getting for an option to be tested and promoted).

Bushido of Benson offers assistance to parents by working together with them and their children to help them connect the accountability dots between home, school, and the dojo.It is sometimes difficult for parents to teach responsibility to their children because kids will often see it as a punishment rather than as a valuable life lesson.

As children are indeed our future we have a strong kid's karate program and we do our best to add content and instruction on our website in order to assist both students and parents with understanding the benefits of the practice as well as how to incorporate their training and practice into their daily lives where it will benefit them the most.
Meditation and Visualization are very powerful tools for personal growth and development, and these tools are absolutely essential to our karate practice. As individuals we speak and communicate with one another using the english language, however, the human body does not understand the english language and instead understands a different form of communication.

This is an amazing place for martial arts (karate) training. The sensei are great teachers of the art as well as the history. It is great for men and women alike. You can practice this art from childhood all the way to elderly as it is not a physical power only type of karate. I find that this art helps you physically as well as helps you to develop a more positive character. What you learn can be used in daily life not just self defense.
