He recieved his undergraduate degree from St. Peter's College in 1971. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pa, and received his doctor of optometry degree in 1975. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.

The experience was great! Considering all the new transitions due to Covid, the wait was less than expected. The front desk staff and techs were friendly and professional. Dr Solis and Dr Harmer were great, made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. They explained everything to me patiently and asked me questions throughout my exam.

Always good he takes his time with my kids is friendly and I got referred to an excellent doctor that did the Lasik procedure on me I'm now seeing 20/20 vision. Staff is very nice and friendly I always enjoy my visits and so does my kids. No wait time always get seen right away. I highly recommend him to everyone.

I’ve been seeing Dr Harmer for 40 years and have always received the best care. He has taken care of all my eye needs through my life. He is competent, friendly and always takes time to explain everything. He is constantly upgrading his testing devices also to be sure to test for any type of problem. His staff is also super friendly and competent. I highly recommend his services.
