Ewers Architecture is a progressive firm formed in 1998 in downtown Golden, Colorado. We design a wide range of commercial and residential architecture. In the past two decades we have designed several hundred projects of all sizes - from small remodel projects to multi-million dollar campuses. Our client list includes families, cities and other governmental entities, schools, non-profit organizations, and many types of businesses.
Ewers Architecture is a small firm by design - we intentionally limit the number of clients and projects we accept at any time. This allows Peter Ewers to be intimately involved in the design for every project, and guarantees that our client will get the personal attention needed. Ewers Architecture has designed a wide variety of commercial projects, from office remodels to new school campuses, restaurants to manufacturing facilities, retail to religious. Our goal for every residential client is the same - ensure that we are designing a home that will look, feel, and live like the client desires. That is why our homes do not have a single style. Since 1998 our focus on sustainability has not changed. Ewers Architecture has been a leader in sustainability, with many Net Zero Energy (NZE), Near-NZE and NZE-Ready designs. We seek to slow the global warming process one wall, one heating system, and one project at a time. Designing the building to maximize the use of the site and the sun (passive solar heating, cooling, breezes, daylighting, etc).
We don't normally like to ring our own bell, but hey, if you are impressed by a little notoriety then here are a few of our past laurels. Peter presented "All-Electric Homes - the key to our energy future" webinar for New Energy Colorado. Two Ewers Architecture designs were included in the virtual Metro Denver Green Homes Tour, advertised as their "greatest hits" from the past 25 years of solar tours.
Peter Ewers believes that it is incumbent upon those who are capable to use their gifts and abilities to help others.
