Services
Our traditional room is designed for those desiring some extra space. These rooms feature true king beds with all the extra comfort you would expect from Dunham's Bay Resort. Located in the main building itself they provide great proximity to the indoor pool and restaurant. If you have any special needs or questions about our rooms or facilities we welcome a call or email so that we may better assist you.
Our two-bedroom porch cabin is located in our courtyard with proximity to the indoor pool, firepit and outdoor play den. They sleep six people and feature two separate full private bathrooms off of each bedroom. With a picnic bench and Barbeque grill right outside of your cabin it's makes for a complete at Dunham's Bay Resort.
The View Restaurant at Dunham's Bay Resort is a family friendly restaurant with views of Lake George which has earned a reputation for excellence in the Lake George Region. Offering a stunning view of the resort's namesake bay and locally sourced seasonal menu expertly crafted by our executive chef, The View Restaurant is a local staple not to be missed.
Enjoy a three-course dinner for two including a choice of Soup du Jour or Side Garden Salad, any Entree from our Dinner Menu, a Shared Dessert, and a bottle of Adirondack Winery Wine, Now on Wednesdays and Fridays! Start with a cup of the Soup du Jour or a Side Garden Salad, an entree of 16oz Bone-In Ribeye with Smokey Tomato Espagnole and Mashed Potatoes paired with a Pint of any of our Local Brews on Tap.
Dunham's Bay Resort strives to make our guests' stay as comfortable as possible and to accommodate the needs of our guests with disabilities. Upon request, we can reserve specific types of guest rooms, where available, to accommodate the needs of our disabled patrons and ensure that the guest rooms requested are blocked and removed from all reservations systems.

Where is this chef's Michelin star?
Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and your eyes light up because the ambiance ignites your senses as it sets the scene for the meal to come. Durning the off-season this was not one of those times. Instead walking into the nearly empty dining room, which had a local charm, expectations were low. My goodness was I wrong. The food was outstanding, to the point where I began to order items just to taste them knowing full well I would not be able to finish them. To keep this short. Don't judge this book (restaurant) by its cover! You will be delighted

We booked our wedding at Dunham’s Bay Resort. Everything was absolutely perfect. Lynn puts such a personal touch on everything that you want and need, Chef and his team just absolutely crush it in the kitchen,… and being able to stay on site was perfect for us and our families. We beyond recommend Dunham’s Bay Resort for your next event or dinner!

If could have rated this experience 0 stars, I would have. The food was awful - all of it. Not one single item was enjoyable. The soup was definitely poured from a 88 cent can from the supermarket and the rest of the food was just as bad, from cold pasta with cheap pasta sauce and chicken that tasted actually rancid, to a salmon charred to no taste. The rice that came with the salmon was a glob of rice mush that had no seasoning.

So disappointed with this place. We arrived at 2 and room wasn’t ready. Office staff was not accommodating. They didn’t offer us any recommendations while we waited. They were busy chatting with each other. Our room was ready by actual checkin time. Our room is run down and we overlook a parking lot. I was promised a balcony with a partial… view. When I went to discuss this with the office staff, specifically Andrew, was sarcastic and rude. Never ever would I recommend this place to anyone. It deserves a two star rating and I am being generous with that rating. 🙁😔

This is my first time at Lake george and I must say I made the right choice for choosing this resort Perfect place to relax and spend time with the family. Room was clean, the view is so relaxing and just 10 mins drive to the town. We took our family picture , the front looks amazing We will definitely come back😍

Almost 5 stars. Definitely a higher quality meal in a cool location (with a view...obviously). But I think the quality and portion size do not quite justify the prices. Come down 10% in the prices and this place is 5 stars. Very good that they are clear about gluten-free options, etc, and are willing to adjust their preparation to accommodate requests.

We got married at Dunham’s Bay resort on 7/4/2021 and we cannot stop talking about how amazing our wedding was. All of our guests keep saying this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to.
We did a… whole wedding weekend Friday through Monday and it was amazing having everyone being able to stay directly on the property in the cabins and hotel rooms. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere was amazing. I can’t thank Lynn enough for being an incredible planner and helping us through everything. Thank you to all the staff too for making our wedding so special we love

Excellent meal tonight during our first visit to The View. We made a reservation (highly recommended) for a party of 5 and our table was ready when we arrived. Our server Katie was amazing; very personable, very attentive and made sure to always check in.
We had the arancini and the hoisin meatballs for starters. Both were incredible. The sauce that accompanies the arancini was AMAZING
for entrees we got the scallops, the beef/udon, the ribeye, the meatloaf and the pork Milanese. All were fantastic. No complaints at all! One of the best meals we had during our vacation

10 star review over here!!! We had our wedding at Dunhams Bay on 6/18/21. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had around 50 guests and it was so intimate and fun. The wedding coordinator Lynn went ABOVE AND… BEYOND for us. She is so wonderful. She was on top of EVERYTHING when I was planning my wedding. Even more than I was! I spilled vinegar on my dress during cocktail our and she was there with her magic and got it right out. We had a fully customized dinner menu made to me exactly how we wanted it. Phenomenal early birthday dinner tonight ! Fantastic service with incredible views of the lake. The ribeye steak was perfectly seasoned and prepared medium rare, served with a complimentary salad with house made dressing . All was delicious, including the seafood fritters and the Clam & Crab Puttanesca So stuffed!

Absolutely unacceptable customer service from the manager (older blonde woman). Had a reservation at 730 and requested privacy since we were a small wedding party of 6 which we were advised was doable over the phone. We called and moved the reservation to 6pm. When we arrived we asked the hostess again and she sat us in a private area and closed the divider halfway. The rude manager opened it and we closed it halfway again. She came over and opened it back while rudely stating to keep it open. We told her, the waitress advised we could, she felt the need to correct us that she was a hostess not

Came here for my Brother in laws 40th birthday celebration, great atmosphere & location with lake view. Pretty good menu, I had the creamy rice balls & asparagus lemon risotto which were both amazing! The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we requested a window table and we did not receive one, even when the restaurant wasn't super busy.

We had a great time at Dunham's Bay! The staff members were amazing, especially Matthew! The rooms are clean, the indoor pool was amazing (jacuzzi too)....we had a few rain storms and it was nice to still be… able to relax in the pool! The property is beautiful and quiet! The only thing we weren't able to do was enjoy the firepit, we'll have to put that at the top of our list for next time!

We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the beauty of Lake George! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the cabins are spacious and perfect for families, and… everything is cleaned and maintained daily. The small beach across the street isn’t crowded at all and perfect for small children to get the full beach experience. The outdoor grills and picnic tables make for easy grilling every night or you can also go to the hotel’s restaurant. My toddler especially enjoyed having a playground right outside his cabin!! Fabulous! From start to finish we had excellent service and a delicious meal. If you are in the area of Lake George I highly recommend The View Restaurant. Our waitress Katie was perfectly attentive. She was sweet, friendly and professional. The food was better then some of the NYC and Las Vegas restaurants I have visited. Arriving hungry we opted to share the snapper tacos as an appetizer. Enjoy the drinks because if your food isn't cooked correct they won't fix it. I ordered the bone-in ribeye MR and it came out medium. After working in and running restaurants I've come to know a good steak as well as the correct temperature. When I mentioned this to the server she asked if I would like a new steak, I said yes that would be great. She returned with the same steak and told me the chef said it was cooked correctly and it was the lighting in the dining room. WOW, I politely pushed it aside and didn't eat. Make sure you come w good company cause you're gunna be waiting 2 hours for your food. Pulling up, the first red sign was the place was completely dead. Waitress was good with refilling drinks but the wait for food was horrendous. We waited for appetizers for at least a half hour which the wings were good but had very little meat and calamari had no flavor and needed to be cooked longer. Then awhile later she finally brings out our salad/soups along with some bread; which should have been brought out before we even got our appetizers.

We had a horrible experience, from start to finish. All the initial warning signs were there, I just missed them. Only 3 occupied tables at 7:30pm on a Friday evening, empty bar, our water glasses were filled, ice melted and over spilling onto table. Chicken wing apps served wth rotted celery....waitress said that this was gross. Soda was flat, waitress states "that happens a lot" Lobster bisque was a very off color and tasted like butternut squash??? Cocktails horribly made, waitress blames bartender and vice versa. We had eaten here for Sunday brunch a few summers ago, and that was a factor in why we booked our stay at the Dunham's Bay Resort for Winter Carnival. In the winter the Sunday brunch is a la carte -- the menu is on their web site -- and that worked out fine. The smaller eater in our couple ordered an egg breakfast. It was not as large as some omelets that other diners got. The larger eater ordered the Wild Game Charcuterie Board, and because that is all cold meats, a side of Duck Hash Obrien.

I'm such a cynic. I have made eggs, I'm read, and I'm learned, but
This side of the lake is frozen, yet I taste the grass in the eggs, from the chicken..
"Throwing tennis balls with RuffRuff, after enjoying chapters of Moreau, but not before swifting dewdrops with soles."
That's where the chickens grew, the eggs laid, the heavens befell, and the ecstasy of my eggs were birthed.
