Hands down the best dental experience i could ask for. I put off getting dental work done for years but after my first trip to see Dr.Gold and his staff i was looking forward to seeing them again. I've had 4 visits and have had to get a decent amount of work done but they are always professional, friendly, encouraging, and more than fair. It's been a blessing to FINALLY find a top notch dentist

Made an appointment and got right in. Dr. Gold's staff was awesome. They talked to me, and we're super friendly. Dr gold came in made his recommendations and it was a lot less work then I expected. They showed me my pricing and it was affordable and realistic. They helped me make my follow up and checked to make sure I was good before leaving. Was a great relief to find an honest dentist who is kind.

Lety, hygienist, is amazing at reassuring and connecting with patients. Particularly me, who considers any needle in my mouth, pure torture. And, I must say that Dr. Gold has been a trusted advisor in my dental book for many years, because he knows how to run an efficient business, and more than that, he's a great dental SPECIALIST. He can do anything. Dr. Gonzales is also a fabulous provider of periodontal maintenance. And, Sarah is great at handling finances for payments. Great office.

One of the Best dental experience I've ever had. Dennis the dental hygienist was AMAZING and gentle with my teeth! Initially I assumed Dennis was my dentist because he was knowledgeable and experienced but then I met Dr. Gold and Dr. Gonzalez and they were both friendly and amazing as well! Dr. Gold and his office are great! Dr. Gold is great at what he does, reliable, and extremely caring. His assistant, Denis, is great at making you feel comfortable and is nice. The office is a really clean and welcoming environment and the rest of the staff is super friendly. Overall, I had a great dental experience at Newport Beach Dental Associates.

I'm a very anxious, white knuckle dental patient and I needed to find a new dental office for some work. Another office had given me some misinformation and I didn't feel comfortable going back so I found Newport Beach Dental and made an appointment. Dr. Gonzales and his staff not only eased my high anxiety but found I didn't need a root canal after all, just 2 crowns. He took his time with me, never making me feel I should just get on with the work. I highly recommend him and his staff.

This place was just top-notch. From the Service to the latest Technology. I have visited many outdated Dentists and let me tell you it has cost me a pretty penny long term. Doctor Gold and Dennis are spectacular. Sarah is the go to billing Guru that will help you save money and get the treatment you deserve!! See for yourself and rate my review. I come in for primarily routine cleaning and the office always takes me in on time. My teeth feel fresh and I never feel pressured with additional fixes that aren't required, and they do make recommendations should I want the option to do adjustments. Staff are friendly, kind, and I never feel awkward with my mouth wide open, ha! Plus, parking and walking to the office is easy.

I am writing, sadly, to let others know that Dr. Gold's office attempted to double bill the root canal and crown that he did for me recently. Before doing the procedures, we agreed on a $1,500 fee, and I signed the paperwork and paid it in full on a credit card.
It turns out, without my authorization or knowledge, they also submitted a bill to my United Healthcare Plan, asking for a whopping $4,601 for the same procedures. This double billing without informing me is just plain unethical. Thankfully, my insurance company turned them down, but the intent to double bill and charge the insurance

Dr Gold and Dr Gonzalez are amazing , I had extractions , implants , root canals and cosmetic services done at one place . No need to go see a specialist to charge more for each procedure . Great staff and you don’t have to wait very long for an appointment. As a former dental office manager , I highly recommend this dental office.

I am very pleased with my total experience at Newport dental. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They took me right in as scheduled and made me comfortable the whole time. They explained all procedures in detail which I understood clearly and there was never any kind of pain whatsoever. The place is kept very clean and is actually the best dental office I have been to. I got over the covid fear to go in for a routine checkup and cleaning. "NBDA" was recommended by a friend and the experience could not have been better!
The staff was extremely clean, friendly and above all else performed a great job. They didn't push to sell you on anything and were informative. Jose, the assistant/ hygienist who cleaned my teeth did a thorough job and made sure to be gentle.

-Dr. Gonzalez is very personable and explains everything very well in layman's terms.
-The office is clean.
Con's:
-Seems as though they over book patients thus making 1hr procedures turn into 2 hour procedures. This happened during all ten of my visits... that is, I had to wait for them to go work on other patients while I waited half done. Overlapping patients is good for them, but is terrible for patients trying to get back to work, or their families, etc.
-They call frequently instead of texting or

I have been a client for many years. Dr Gold’s staff are always provide professional and personable services. During covid they have followed all safety protocols. When I first arrived I was greeted warmly and only sat in the waiting room a few minutes. A sweet lady named Christina brought me to a beautiful high tech office where she took x-rays of all my teeth. I then had a thorough cleaning. They got all the coffee and cigarette stains off my teeth and then came the fun part. I had a bad cavity. 😟. I normal feel pain from the needle going into my gums to numb me at other dentist offices, but this time I felt nothing. The procedure was relative quick and that tooth feels so much better.
