Dr Brisley puts your needs first. She understands the level of suffering one can experience from an atlas misalignment through her own personal journey. Dr. Brisley suffered a major concussion at the tender age of eight years old that left her suffering from migraines and profuse vomiting, ultimately resulting in a seizure that would take her on a long road down the traditional medical rabbit hole.
Ultimately she discovered chiropractic and the rest is history. Dr. Brisley graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa in 1991. She is a Diplomate to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has extensive post graduate training in Chiropractic Neurology from the Carrick Institute as well as Spinal Bio-mechanics, Radiology, Kinesiology, Nutrition and Metaphysics.

I wish I could give Dr. Brisley a 10 star review. She is by far the best chiropractor I've ever seen! First off she is extremely intelligent and explains everything, so the patient can understand. She explains the theology of her practice and how it can effect the entire body. I gladly drive 2 1/2 hours to come see her. She has helped me more in the 4 visits I've seen her, then the last 8 years, that I've seen all my specialists combined. I had a severe head injury/concussion in 2013. My experience here has been absolutely amazing. After dealing with two years of worsening physical health, anxiety and mental health, I could not find any doctors to point me in the right direction. Hospital doctors would tell me nothing was wrong with me while I did not have enough energy to work or do anything. It has taken me too long to write this review for Dr. Brisley! She is an amazing doctor. EXTREMELY knowledgeable, so much so that it really raises the bar for other doctors. She's in a league of her own, which is bittersweet because I wish more healthcare professionals worked the way she does. I live in Houston and travel all the way to Austin to get care from her...(there is an AO chiropractor here, which says a lot). She really listens and when the gears get to going inside her head she's a true force which is funnily ironic since her Atlas Orthogonal treatments are the most gentle

I had never heard of this method until three weeks ago, and then called to get more information. Dr. Brisley answered all my questions and advised me of the process and the cost going forward.

Dr. Brisley has been helping me feel better and find relief for over a year. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Every time I have an adjustment, my sinuses start draining by the time I leave the parking lot, which is a real bonus. Unlike so many GPs, Dr Brisley doesn't treat symptoms, she treats the cause and gets to the bottom of the problem. I have been seeing Dr. Brisley for almost four months. About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease...a vestibular disorder which affects the inner ear causing balance issues, severe dizziness and vertigo, nausea, hearing loss, fatigue and more. Words don't even begin to describe the magic that comes from this womans care. The concept behind Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic makes a lot of sense, but the methods that Austin Atlas uses to reel people in to pay hundreds of dollars was highly disappointing.
The entire idea behind atlas is to analyze the alignment of the cervical spine using X ray and adjust individual vertebrae using a machine that applies pressure to areas that need adjusting. According to multiple Atlas Orthogonal resources online, accurate diagnosis of the spine requires x rays before and after treatment using the machine. Post x rays are necessary immediately after treatment to document the efficacy

Dr.Brisley has changed my life. I swear I'm in a dream. I have fibromyalgia. I can't work, I don't make it to all my classes, daily stuff is difficult. I'm only 25. After having this treatment for a couple months, I am getting my life back. I don't have daily migraines anymore. My body pains are minimal. I went an entire 8 days of feeling normal. In the healing process, I know it won't be immediate, but those 8 days were heaven. Especially since I haven't had any in years! What I also love is that I learn so much every time. I've had chiropractic care my entire life. Applied kinesiology has been the most helpful. Until now. This is amazing. Dr. B is wonderful. She is knowledgable, caring, attentive, understanding and perceptive. I have old injuries (car accident, road rash down my left arm severe whip lash) and sometimes my neck locks up and I can't move. With this amazingly gentle technique I went from locked up to mobile in seconds. It was like magic. And I haven't had another episode sense. This is amazing.

For 25 years I had chronic pain from my left occipital all the way down to my left piriformis that wiped my energy level to zero day in and day out. For those 25 years I saw many traditional Chiropractors, some up to three times per week but felt no relief. Dr. Brisley is a LIFESAVER!!! I suffered from chronic neck and shoulder pain, headaches, and fatigue for years. After trying many different things and many hours of research, I decided to try Atlas treatment. Dr. Brisley thoroughly explained the procedure to me. After my initial appointment, I felt like a whole new person. It was the first time in years that I did not have pain. I actually broke down crying in the car on the way home. Since I started seeing Dr. Brisley mid July, I have a LIFE back. I was "injured" by a boyfriend that fell on me and elbowed me in the neck. The result was 4 bulging disc's and a herniated disc in my neck. Lots of meds, chronic pain & numbness & I was also having symptoms of MS. We moved to Austin from San Diego in the winter of 2013. Shortly thereafter I started experiencing horrible headaches, visual disturbances, and a feeling I could best describe as intoxication. When this first occurred, I went to the emergency room. They did a MRI and didn't find anything so they sent me home with the recommendation to see my primary care doctor and ophthalmologist. I went on a six week trip which included a 23 day cruise and 3 weeks staying in Brasil. In the past I've often struggled with sea sickness, as well as any repetitive movements were difficult for me handle since Oct 2009. I'm a licensed massage therapist and have worked for 4 different chiropractic offices over the years, and have been treated by perhaps 10 different chiropractors in my lifetime, and never had I experienced chiropractic like this.

Revised update now that I've been going to AAOC for nearly a year. Dr. Brisley continues to amaze me. Last week I either strained my neck doing a home improvement project or while sleeping. In any case, I could not turn my head to the left. I lived on Doan's Back Pills with moderate success until I got in today for my appointment. I walked out with a full range of motion and as a very happy camper.
I make a point of dropping in once per month for maintenance. It's a very minor investment in my health that pays big dividends and I will not go anywhere else.
