Karen Brod and her firm represented me in my social security disability case. They handled all of my appeals. They prepared me for each appeal and helped me in saying what I wanted to state about my disability. Professional and compassionate - what a great combination, especially when going through a really challenging process! It was 2 really challenging years, start to finish. The number of times I said "I can't do this" probably drove Karen crazy. After being denied twice I decided to hire a lawyer. The first one I called wanted me to jump through a bunch of hoops. So I decided to look for someone else and Karen had so many good reviews. Well let me tell you there is a reason why. I had my first appointment with her office in March she then filed my appeal for a hearing. She called me in May and I was approved in June without a hearing! I have now already received my back pay and first check coming this week. I am blown away at how fast this worked after hiring her! I would recommend her to anyone.
