A Georgia native, Dr. Davis grew up in Cochran. He attended Middle Georgia College and the University of Georgia, and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) School of Dentistry in 2009.
Following dental school, Dr. Davis completed a one-year General Practice Residency at MCG, which included training in advanced dental services, such as dental surgery, placement of dental implants and IV sedation procedures.Dr. Davis opened his Warner Robins dental practice in 2012 and his Macon office in 2019.

Dr. Melanie L. Porter is a native of Fort Valley, Ga., and graduate of Peach County High School. She earned her B.A. Degree in Psychology from Spelman College, in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Porter later went on to Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry, in Nashville, TN, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.
At Davis Dental Care, we always want you and your loved ones to have a comfortable and pleasant experience with us! During your first visit, we will introduce you to our team and spend a little time getting to know you and learning about your dental health. Your complete dental examination includes any necessary dental xrays, a gum (periodontal) health assessment, oral cancer screening and a thorough visual examination of your teeth and gums.
We believe that payment concerns should never be an obstacle to receiving excellent dental care. Our Financial Coordinator will review your financial options and address any insurance questions during your initial visit and prior to any treatment. Our practice is a participating provider with CareCredit(R) third party financing.

Dr. Davis and his staff are phenomenal. Each and every visit you are greeted with a smile, professionalism, great. Customer service, and competent. Dr. Davis and his staff ensures you understand every facet of your treatment. I am amazed how well they work together, and treat each other with respect. Please and Thank you are the words he tells his staff all the time. When you have a dental procedure in the office, Dr. Davis personally calls to ensure you are okay that evening. Awesomeness in Davis Dental! I actually look forward to my visits to the office mainly because of Dr. Ryan Davis, along with the outstanding office personnel (Leigh and Lisa?), as well as expert dental hygienists Dee and Ashley. I enjoy getting “caught up” with my SuperStar hygienist, Dee, who professionally cleans my teeth and makes me feel at home in her dental chair! Davis Dental has a great team and a great leader. By far one of the most professional staff and dentist that I have visited. I was shocked the fist time Dr. Davis gave me a call late one evening just to check up on me after a procedure. I really appreciated that. Excellent experience! Walked in with the typical anxiety associated with going to the dentist. Already in pain from a chipped tooth.
Dee exceeded my expectations and ensured that once I made it to the chair I had no more pain. She talked me through the entire process gave me options. Above all she was patient and empathetic.
Dr. Davis came in to examine and address the “angry” tooth. Advised of my options and took time to answer my questions. I have a clear plan and am actually looking forward to my follow up! (Never thought I’d say that about a dentist)🤷🏼♀️

Dr. Davis is not only a great Dentist he's an all around great person. His staff is amazing and they always have made me feel at home. I had an excellent experience. I came with very short notice, and was immediately examined, and had my tooth pulled within two hours of my arrival. Both receptionists we're very polite and helpful. The dental assistants were great, and Dr. Davis was very down to earth and did a great job. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Just relocated and needed a dentist that would serve my insurance as well as my spouse and Davis Dental took both insurances and had excellent reviews. They did not disappoint. Highly professional and courteous from the receptionist, hygienist and the dentist himself. They were very detailed and explained everything. The hygienist took her time to make sure my cleaning was perfect. The dentist Dr Davis himself introduced himself and washed his hands . I highly recommend this dentist and look forward to my 6 month cleaning.

We had to find a new dentist due to relocating. After doing my online research about local dentist offices, I decided to make an appointment with Davis Dental Care. Dr. Davis and his staff are very professional and friendly, on the phone and at the office. Coming from the medical field, I am very picky about our doctors and their staff. I really love this office. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. My appointments are always prompt and I get in and out in a timely manner. I feel comfortable when my teeth are being worked on. I honestly felt like my comfort level was just as important as the health of my teeth. I have very sensitive teeth so being able to get my routine teeth cleanings as well as wisdom teeth extractions (I had 4 removed at this office) with as little pain as possible is big for me.
