Just called to make appointment for my father regular eyes exam. My father got an approved authorization from his insurance and the PCP, and this office contact info was on the form. So I called and unfortunately I spoke to the RUDEST person name Alfredo (he said his name like Alfredo Chicken, but pretty much there is no chicken here??? Not sure what he means about his name?????); and he REFUSED to book appointment for my father as he said my father will have to pay cash at the time of visit. This place is absolutely the worst took my in laws here to see the doctor after my dad's eye surgery and the lady at the front desk gave me attitude because my mom, dad, and myself came in. Mind you, I come in to do the check in and help with any paper work because, they are 78 and 76 years of age and they can't hear or see very well. The front desk lady says my 78 year old mom needs to wait outside in the hot sun because, it's their policy that only the patient can stay in the lobby. Ofcourse I challenged her and she very smugly responded sorry that is our policy it's not fair

This is my first time at this location . Normally I go to the Torrance office. I needed a diabetic eye exam. The Drs assistant named Liz was very rude. She asked me questions that I wasn't prepared to answer like-(1) how long have you been pre- diabetic?, (2) when was the last time you got glasses?What brand of eye drops do you use? I told her I didn't know and she repeated the question with a firmer voice. I had to guess because I wasn't prepared for these questions. This has never happened to me before and I told her that. Edit: I tried to return, but doctor went on pregnancy leave and never followed up with me after trying to make an appointment. It doesn't seem like they want my business, so I moved to a new doctor.

So I went to this place and it was absolutely wonderful!!
Atlantis Eyecare Long Beach was super quick and effective in helping me out.
Dr Logan was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Technician Kris and Jana both were super quick and effective in helping me out both before and after my surgery.
Surgery scheduler, Rosa was an absolute pleasure speaking with and helped me schedule everything very quickly.
I cannot speak more highly about this staff and how they helped me out with my eye injury.

My eyeglasses was ordered May 14, and I have not received it yet after 7 weeks. They keep telling me to follow up in two weeks. But each time, they still do not have an update. I asked them to call the lab where they sent it out but they put me back on hold and then an answering machine. I do not recommend this place. "Due to Covid" is an overused excuse for poor customer service.

They went above and beyond their call of duty for me: My cell phone battery died and the presiding/primary eye optometrist (very handsome in a suit) PERSONALLY went to find a charger for me.
The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is because: the LONG WAIT to get an appointment to come to get my eye check ---- over five weeks wait!

We left this practice for a number of reasons. The first was that Dr. Banuelos recommended that we use a low dose of pupil dilating drops in our 2 year old daughter's eyes to get her to wear her glasses consistently. Now, we understand that Dr. Banuelos was trying to be helpful and use the tools that are available to her. However, we wanted to avoid using drug intervention for a behavioral issue. We were able to get our daughter to wear her glasses by getting a more thorough eye exam which yielded a better prescription and a pair of glasses that fit better at another practice.

This was my wife's second appointment at ATLANTIS Eye Care. Her first appointment was at the Torrance office. I accompanied her on both trips. The staff there was friendly and so efficient that she hadn't even finished my paperwork before she was called in.
Dr. Casey came in soon after. She had to finish her paperwork after her appointment. Contrast that with the follow up appointment in Long Beach (We went to this office because it was much closer to our home). I needed a new eye place as I recently relocated, and came here for a general glasses eye exam, dilated eye exam, and new frames/lens on a whim from searching through places that accepted my insurance near me. I didn't have much expectations, but so far I've had wonderful experiences with all the staff and doctor! The receptionists were very friendly and with laid-back, friendly attitudes. Went in for a eye exam, staff was really friendly, office was nice and clean. They have a large waiting room and patients are able to be spaced out-sitting six feet apart.
Exam rooms were clean. The doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns.
Over all, great experience, highly recommend and I will definitely come back.

Annually eye exam was scheduled and service was provided on time. But the eyeglasses department wanted additional CASH for a frame. My insurance covers $175.00 towards a frame (one hundred and seventy-five!!!)
and they don't offer frames in that price range! Not happy, I went to another place that takes my insurance!

Atlantis Eyecare is the company I go to for all my glasses needs. When I called to schedule an appointment they were able to see me within a week at this location, Long Beach. When I arrived they checked my temperature which is great because you know they're trying their best to keep people safe during the Covid pandemic.
Once checked in, I waited in the waiting area where they have certain chairs marked off to aid in social distancing.
The tech Elisa, helped me get ready before the doctor checked me out. She performed the tests needed, and she was very quick and polite.

I finally found an optical location where I feel comfortable with all the knowledge that was provided to me by all the staff. Let me start off by saying that majority of the staff were welcoming from start to finish of my visit. The assistant that assisted me with my exam provided great service and informed me on some tips in resting my eyes throughout the day.
The doctor was informative about my vision and how the previous prescription on my glasses only needed a slight change in their prescription to fit my sight.
There's no better feeling than walking out of an appointment feeling welcomed

They Are Open!!!!
I didn't realize a lot of offices are closed right now due to the pandemic happening. So last week when I broke my glasses I got super scared and nervous about how I was going to be able to see. I was having a hard time finding another doctor until I found Atlantis eyecare. Monse assured me that they are open and could take me as soon as possible. & just like that she scheduled my appointment for a few days later.
I didn't even realize how close they were until I hopped in my car for the first time in a week. When I got to the office it was very clean and nice

I took my uncle in for a cataract consult with Dr. Logan. He was very nice and he greeted us with a huge smile. He gave us a little background story about him and asked us to tell him a little about us which made us feel at ease with him. He then explained the surgery process and options available for my uncle. Which was nice to know there was opinions and he didn't pressure us at all. Even told us to go home think about it and if we had any questions to give him a call again. My uncle was very scared about the surgery but Dr. Logan gave him the break down and also told us there was nothing

I would say they are not organized at all, seriously save your money and take your business elsewhere. I had a great experience getting my exam done but when it comes to paying and dealing with the insurance they drop the ball. I spent at least 20 minutes after my appointment getting a breakdown of the costs for new contact lenses, left happy, just to be called days later saying they haven't ordered my trials because I didn't pay a fee. A fee that was never told to me about to begin with! (Which by the way, the fitting fee for contacts is RIDICULOUS

This practice was ruined with their acquisition by Atlantis Eyecare. I've never experienced such rude behavior and complete lack of customer service from a medical service provider. I had put in a request for a sample pair of contacts (with is standard operating procedure at every other eyecare practice I've worked with in the past). The optician said that she would need to get the request "approved" by management before being able to order them. Weeks went by, not a word. When I called to follow up, the optician said she hasn't heard back yet and didn't offer to do anything about it, saying "that
