Michael A. Janicke Jr was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Massachusetts when he was a teen. He has over 28 years of experience in both state of the art cutting and coloring. Since opening his own salon in 1986 Michael was the first official state hairdresser for the Massachusetts Miss America Pageant Program.

I chose this salon initially based on great reviews online. Then I stopped in so I could get a sense of the vibe as I have an adult child with anxiety. Laid back and friendly vibe. My daughter really liked it and loved her haircut. I just had my hair cut and colored and love the suggestions Michael made for my hair - it came out great and feels so healthy! So hard to find a new salon but I think we have a winner here!

Went in with very long box colored hair. Christine did such a wonderful job. My hair came out about 14-16 inches shorter and beautifully colored. The pictures are before, during and after. I am absolutely obsessed!
