Services
I have been a licensed massage therapist in the state of Massachusetts for 22 years. In 1999 I completed a 600 hour program at an accredited massage therapy school. Once in school, I knew that prenatal massage would be my specialty. It is now my passion! As a mother myself, I would have been delighted to have had a trained prenatal massage therapist by my side during my pregnancy.
The Featherstones Comfort Pad is designed to alleviate sensitive or painful areas of the body. Its high-quality materials conform to and gently embrace each body area in need of comfort. My initial intent in creating this product was to solve a problem for many women - discomfort while lying on their breasts.
Years ago I went through my Birth Doula classes with the intent of attending births of my clients. This was a natural progression for me as prenatal massage has been my specialty for the past twenty years. Becoming a Birth Doula was just one more step that I wanted to achieve so I could be available to all women and their partners who desire additional emotional and physical support during their birth experience.
This massage is designed to not only relax you but to work out and remedy your trouble areas. Many different massage techniques may be incorporated into this massage to ensure the maximum in relaxation and healing. In most cases seventy-five minutes is sufficient but may require ninety minutes.

A massage focusing on head, neck, shoulders and back followed by the placement of hot stones along the sides of your spine (erector muscles) and under your neck.A lavender pack is placed over your eyes. Soft music and thirty minutes of Reiki follow for a grounding experience. Hot and cold stones are used to massage the entire body.
During pregnancy your body is undergoing stress producing changes. Massage eliminates many of the adverse effects of stress, muscle tension, fatigue and accompanying discomforts. Come experience 60-75 minutes of relaxation for you and your baby on a special table which is specifically designed for pregnancy.

Where do I begin...Leigh is not only an incredible massage therapist she is such a kind human being with a heart of gold. I have had three massages during my pregnancy and one of them being an induction massage. They were all phenomenal and each time she made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and taken care of. I highly recommend booking all your prenatal massages up front so you can be sure you can get in throughout your pregnancy. She is one busy lady which speaks volumes of how great she is. I plan on going to see her from now on for any therapeutic massage needs in the future. I am so thankful

I went for an induction massage after going past my due date. Two hours after my massage my water broke. My daughter was born the following day. The massage relaxed my body and mind. I left knowing I would meet my daughter soon! Leigh was truly fantastic! This was the best body work I’ve ever received. I highly recommend her services!

As a chiropractor and father to be, I can tell you with complete certainty that the care Leigh provides is an extremely valuable service. My partner and I are expecting our first child and she (also a chiropractor) has been getting regular pre-natal massage from Leigh. Before many of the massages my partner would be having some fairly intense tension in her uterus, almost as if the baby didn't have enough space, making both she and, more than likely, the baby, very uncomfortable. AFTER the massages, there was a noticeable decrease in the tension, and...this is the cool part, our little one would
