Services
Dr. Yoon grew up in Andover, MA and graduated from Andover High School in 1997. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Lehigh University in 2000 and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. He practiced as an associate dentist in Western Massachusetts and Connecticut before returning to his hometown to open his new practice.
At your initial visit we will complete a comprehensive examination and provide treatment recommendations an options if needed. This includes a thorough review of medical and dental history, evaluation of x-rays and digital photographs, and a clinical examination of the teeth, gums, and head and neck region.
We accept most traditional insurance plans such as Delta Dental and Blue Cross. We also participate with many networked insurance plans such as Metlife, Aetna, Cigna, and more. We are happy to look up details of your individual dental plan and educate you on how your coverage works. We will also process and submit claims to your insurance company directly from our office.
Teeth can gradually darken and discolor over time. Often this is the result of stains from pigmented foods, drinks like coffee or tea, or tobacco products that have absorbed into the enamel of the teeth. Products like whitening toothpastes and rinses can be useful for removing surface stains, but usually a professional whitening procedure is required to remove the deeper stains and truly change the shade of the teeth.
Many patients are interested in straightening their teeth, but want to avoid wearing traditional braces. Clear orthodontic aligners offer our patients a way to address minor orthodontic issues in a more convenient, comfortable, and cosmetic way. After collecting and studying models, images, and radiographs of the teeth and jaws, patients are made a series of clear plastic aligners which are worn on the teeth.

I previously had a good experience with Dr. Yoon. He had been a great dentist. I had always previously been very anxious to see the dentist and Dr. Yoon did a great job easing my anxiety. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for his front office staff. It is possible others may not have the same poor customer service from Gabby so I would maybe give Dr. Yoon a chance just be wary as you might catch the front office staff in a bad mood! I decided to go to a different dentist in North Andover and have had an absolutely amazing experience so far.

LITERALLY the best Dentist, and staff, I've experienced. Dr. Yoon is the gentlest dude ever, and genuinely cares about what's in your mouth. Gabby, the one who makes magic happen, seriously could not get more personable; she makes calling the office exciting :D Then there's Sammy and Amanda ... boss ladies who know how to get a job done! They leave your mouth squeaky clean and fresh. There's a reason why everyone has given them 5 stars on here, they're awesome. Dr. Yoon and his staffs are so friendly! it was super quick, and easy, to get an appointment, He is in a great convenient location. The office is super clean .He is very professional and use excellent techniques machines and tools. He diagnosed my teeth of problems very clear and very sure . Dr. Yoon has been my first dentist in the North Andover area. they really make you feel comfortable in there !!!

I really had a great experience at this dental office. The office itself is really clean and modern. The staff was really friendly and helpful with my questions about insurance, which seems to be uncommon at other offices I've been to in the past.
Dr. Yoon and his hygienist Samantha were great. They took photos of all of my teeth and showed my all of the pictures and x-rays of my teeth on a tv screen, which was really neat. Dr. Yoon really took his time and did a really good job of explaining to me all the details of what was going on in my mouth.

I made an appointment at Dr. Yoon's office to have my teeth whitened. I saw on their website that they had zoom bleaching which I wanted to try. The receptionist and staff were all really friendly and Dr. Yoon was really nice too. He examined my teeth and talked to me about the bleaching process before they got started. I was worried my teeth were going to be sensitive, but it wasn't bad at all. It took about an hour and my teeth came out looking great! Much whiter than when I used whitestrips. I think the hardest part was not having coffee, tea, or red wine for the rest of the day
