William J. Mayo articulated our mission best when he said, "the best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered." His 1910 position far predates our 1987 start in Flagstaff, Arizona; but we believe it is a timeless foundation on which to stand. From our first day in practice, to our last, whenever that may be, we hope that our patients will speak of our integrity and dedication to their care.
Surgical procedures are common in dentistry, and our dentists have been trained to perform surgeries in ways that reduce patient anxiety and minimize post-operative pain. In our office, dental surgeries are performed as outpatient procedures. Depending on the surgery, generally patients can generally return to their normal routines within a few days.
Most patients often wonder why it is essential to keep their regular dental appointments, especially if they are not suffering from any troublesome dental issues such as a toothache or sensitivity. The truth is that regular dental check-ups enable your dentist to monitor your individual oral health and help your teeth and gums stay strong, healthy, and disease-free.
A root canal is standard treatment for teeth whose nerve has been compromised from either trauma or a very deep cavity. Dentists perform this procedure when the infection has reached the tooth's nerve and blood vessels, often causing swelling, pain and inflammation. If this is not treated, the infection can reach your jawbone and potentially cause permanent damage.
If there are no immediate dental concerns such as pain or swelling, a new patient's first exam will involve a comprehensive evaluation of their oral cavity. The dentist will conduct a complete assessment of the oral cavity to analyze and evaluate its current status.
With this information, the dentist can then diagnose problems and create an individualized treatment plan that meets the needs and desires of the patient to ensure maximum health, comfort, function, and aesthetics.In our office, the dentists prefer to meet every new patient and complete a comprehensive exam before the patient is scheduled to see a dental hygienist.

I would like to thank Mrs Dale Hallberg for getting us in with my young grandson as we had a dental emergency. We had reached out to his pediatric dentist and were told they wouldn't see him till the next day. We then called Hallberg Family Dentistry and Dr. Casey Hallberg waited for us to get to the office even though it was after hours. He was so caring and compassionate towards my grandson who had an accident and knocked out his front teeth. He had a lot of soft tissue damage. Thank you so much Dr. Casey Hallberg for caring enough to help us. You are the best.

Of the symptoms and complaints and thoroughly check to find the problem. All options were discussed in great detail and it was no big deal! Everyone (including me) has some hesitation going to the dentist, but with these guys In town it’s a breeze! My urgent tooth issue was managed and the cost was not nearly as much as I had been afraid of. I can not recommend this practice enough. From calling to get an appointment, the covid check in process, preperation

Calm, friendly, sympathetic, open-minded, detail-oriented, unhurried, meticulous--so many good adjectives to describe Dr. Hallberg. A wonderful man and a good dentist. I am not an easy patient to deal with, but he makes me feel relaxed and welcome.
