Imagine having the moment you first see your child, their first breath, the first time you kiss their little head, and the reaction of your partner and family all timelessly preserved by a professional photographer. Memories fade, but birth photography enables you to remember and share your baby's birth, the moment you became a parent and your family grew.
Why hire a professional photographer? I remember my wedding day and thought that must be the most important day of my life, but it wasn't - the birth of my son transformed me into who I am today, both personally and professionally. By hiring a professional birth photographer your partner will be free to experience the moment as it is happening, and not through the lens of a camera and they will actually be in the photos!
Brand New sessions are a great alternative for those that love birth photography but don't want their own labor and delivery documented. I come to your place of birth and capture the memories surrounding the birth, but after everyone has had a chance to rest, freshen up and eat. These sessions are wonderful for documenting siblings and extended family meeting the new baby for the first time.
My approach with each of these sessions is very similar - to document your baby as naturally and simply as possible. Lifestyle newborn sessions tell the story of your family and are done in the comfort of your own home. There is no unnatural posing, backdrops, or props, just documentation of your baby's story into your family.
Videography is a a beautiful way to record your baby's first cry and the joy that fills the room. Clients can choose between photo and film fusions or full film birth coverage. Fusion films include short lengths of video footage with the emphasis on the still photography and full-length films provide you with more complete video coverage of your birth.

Sarah is an amazing photographer. She took maternity and newborn photos for us and we couldn’t have been happier with both the process of working with her and the quality of the photographs she took. She is great at capturing beauty in a natural environment and made us feel comfortable and have fun as she snapped stunning images. If you’re looking for beautiful, organic photos she is the best!

I was never into family photos and then one year decided to try Sarah because she put together a stellar deal with holiday cards. She is FANTASTIC and so so patient with kiddos! Her property was the perfect backdrop. Our first session was almost 3 years ago and we have and will continue to use her every year! Highly recommend!

Sarah was a savior for us. An unexpected turn into the surgery unit meant that hubby could be with me and baby as Sarah was there to document it all. Video and photos. A must for any expectant mom. I am so thankful. She now has done maturity photos, newborn photos and family photos for us and they've all turned out so amazing. I absolutely recommend her for all services. Birth doula and photographer!
