Dr. Anisha Patel was raised in the Midwest before moving to Blairs, VA, and then to the Richmond area. Dr. Patel received a BA in Biology and Psychology at the UVA, and a Masters in Physiology and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from VCU. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Additionally, she has helped organize local dental health fairs where she provides oral health education and basic screenings for community members.

Dr Anisha Patel and her team have performed a miracle. From Receptionist, Office Manager, Hygienist, The Dentist herself, they were kind, caring, concerned, gentle, unhurried, patient. This is a Family practice, plus many specialities. Children were heard laughing in the background. Joyful and calm is the atmosphere at this place.

Village Family Dentistry is simply the best in the Richmond area. As someone with consistent and extensive dental issues, Dr Patel always knows how to put me at ease and will get the job done. She's professional, patient and extremely personable. Whitney and Helen are also amazing employees who know how to make you feel safe and taken care of. Overall, they don't make dentist visits intimidating at all! They definitely live up to the "Family" in their name.

Dr. Patel is great! She is very knowledgeable and will explain everything, answering my many questions. I had a check-up and cleaning recently; I was able to book the appointment with ease and get seen just two days later. I am happy with the COVID precautions Village Family Dentistry has implemented. They gave me some "goodies" on my way out, including a Christmas gingerbread house, which was lovely. My only complaint is that I was recommended to an Endodontist that is out-of-network for me, and an appointment was set up on my behalf. I was told by staff that there are no in-network

This has been my second visit. Joy is awesome both time she has done my cleaning. Doctors Patel office is very friendly and welcoming. They are willing to work with you to get you back on track with a beautiful smile. There screening before entering for COVID also made me feel safe and sure their office is clean.

I choose Village Family dentistry because of the high rated reviews. I had a very pleasant first visit and was even told that I had great insurance. After the visit, I was told that they had to submit a claim to my insurance and they would give me a call. Ok cool! So I was waiting and waiting..finally I called myself and was told that they hadn't heard back from my insurance. So finally I called my insurance and was told that I only had till June 15 to do the procedure. Really? That's not what I was told at all. Front desk assistant told me that because of COVID, it takes longer to process

I concur with Valerie's assessment. I too get a little anxious when I visit a dentist. These folks, to a person, are really warm and friendly. Best customer service I have ever had in my 68 years of going to dentists. I will be sure to go back there in the future and am passing the word on to my kids as well. Specific to my experience, I went in fully expecting Dr. Patel to have to pull my badly chipped tooth. But lo and behold, she was able to save it and do a first class filling to boot! Thanks Dr. Patel!

I am probably one of the most anxious individuals when it comes to dental visits, but this time I was put at ease. The entire office (Linda, Mya, and of course Dr. Patel) are amongst the most professional and warm-sprited individuals you could ever meet. I'd recommend this location to all! My favorite dentist! The office is super clean and modern and the staff are really friendly. Dr. Patel spent the whole appointment with me, I didn't feel like she was rushed at all. She was also very gentle during the cleaning, I have a spot where my gum recedes and it didn't hurt when she cleaned it. Dr. Patel is super sweet and knows her stuff. There is also a parking deck behind the office so you don't have to park on the street.

As a fairly new resident of Richmond, I was dragging my feet like most to find all new healthcare professionals for my annual routine care needs. I was excited to find Dr. Patel's new office as it is in a great location and meets my "family" office feel. I have been to bigger practices where you feel like a customer and not a patient.
Here, the staff's mood is enthusiastic, there are minimal wait times, and it is just a comfortable dental office.
