While these guys werent able to work on our antique austin healy, they were very nice people and extremely helpful in assisting us. They got us pointed to the right people and helped us get our car over there. We needed assistance with a steering system leak on our Class C motorhome and went to see them at Five Star Automotive. Our motorhome is unique and, as such, we felt it was important to take the time to make sure they both understood what it was, and whether they would be able to get the it into the building and up on the lift to do the repairs. We spent about 10 minutes in conversation with Steve and his mechanic about the size of the motorhome and what we knew about the leak, showed him a picture of the vehicle and explained what we were asking for. My front wheel was wobbling according to someone driving next to us. Called five star, Steve squeezed us in for a diagnosis. Turned out after they checked the whole front end, the wheel somehow was bent a bit, so it looked like a wobble. Tire rolling straight no problem. Better to be safe,

After spending over $2400 and coming back three times they still didn't fix my front end in my jeep. Had to go to a different mechanic to complete the repair. I got the death wobbles after they worked on it for the third time. My new mechanic said Five Star didn't even tighten the bolts on my front tie rod. Five Star Automotive doesn't deserve even one star.

We had an emergence fix while we were up at Tahoe on ouur way home from a dr appointment .I called right when they were closing and told them we needed a water pump for a 98 jeep grand cherokee 5.9. The owner Steve was great we were in and out by 1:00 pm we highly recommend Five Star Automotive . I will definitely will go back for any repair we may need if we are up in SLT. Steve and crew did a great job on my clutch. As a long-time customer, I cannot think of any repairs on any of our vehicles that wasn't done well. Everyone has "their" mechanic that is "the best", and Five Star does that for us. Very professional yet down to earth. If you haven't found a good mechanic yet, give them a try!!!

I was the successful bidder for an oil change with Five Star and though I would try them out. They scheduled the appointment and handled other issues that were sporadic. We had a warning on the console about a light bulb light that was intermittent. They found the problem, ordered the part, and replaced the bulb. Their service was timely, the staff friendly, and the work complete. I would use their service again.

A couple of years ago, I had a transmission failure that landed my car in their property over the weekend when they were closed. The car sat there while I had to return to work hours away. I left a voicemail to let them know that I left the car in their yard and that I had no idea what was wrong with it. I asked that they diagnose and let me know.
