We aren't a "personal injury factory" with a Boston address. Our attorneys are involved in every step of the case - everything from settlement negotiations up through a jury verdict. We don't just show up when it's time to get the check. Daniel Malis has successfully litigated and tried cases for people hurt by dangerous products, negligent nurses, construction site accidents, car crashes, and other injury claims.

In Dan's 35-plus years of practicing civil litigation, he has obtained more than $30 million for injured victims through settlements, trials, and appeals. We believe in gaining justice for all our clients - one case at a time, one trial at a time, and one settlement at a time. This website may constitute attorney advertising.
Services
Lawyers receive cases in many ways, including advertising (which we don't do), word of mouth (which we're grateful for), and referral from other lawyers. So why do lawyers send perfectly good cases to other lawyers? After all, they went to law school, just like we did. First of all, lawyers specialize, and personal injury and civil litigation is what we specialize in - in Dan's case, for over 35 years.
Dan is the founder of MALIS|LAW and has been trying and litigating simple and complex personal injury matters before juries, judges, and appellate courts for more than 35 years. Dan is a member of the "Cum Laude" society of Phillips Academy (Andover), a magna cum laude graduate of Wesleyan University with Honors in History, and a graduate of Boston University School of Law.
A lot of law firms are like conveyor belts, pulling cases through predetermined steps and going by the book. MALIS|LAW employs watchmakers. We handle each case on an individual basis, because each case is a person who has wrongs that must be righted. Even the most routine of car accidents can turn on an obscure insurance provision.
A personal injury lawyer represents those who are hurt because of another's negligence. Injuries happen in many different settings, and each type of injury involves a different set of knowledge, tactics, and legal issues. In more than 35 years of practice, I've encountered just about every setting and know what it takes to get your case done.
When you've been hurt, take a second to appraise your injury. Stabilize yourself; look around at your surroundings; check to see what hurts, and how badly. You may be embarrassed or feel the need, if you're at work, to "get back to it." Make sure you know how badly you're hurt and what happened to you.
