Sugaring was discovered & originated in Egypt dating back to 300 B.C. With the skin care industry becoming more "health conscious" and seeking more organic methods for healthier skin, "sugaring" has gained increased popularity. We have found a way to make hair removal a more gentle and highly effective treatment.
Skin So Sweet offers an array of facials that refresh and rejuvenate your complexion to look more youthful and healthy. From fine lines to wrinkles, pigmentation issues to acne, our customization techniques can help any skin type achieve optimal results. A treatment to remove dead, dull and damaged skin cells while stimulating the collagen beneath the surface.
A: Sugar is a natural product that is used at room temperature that only adheres to hair & dead skin cells. A sugar paste is moulded onto the skin against the direction of hair growth (with a hand-held technique). It's then extracted with the natural direction of hair growth. This allows hairs to slide out gently causing, less pain, less irritation, less breakage, less and less ingrowns.

Don even bother!! Joined last week VIP. Appt for next day cancelled via robo text. Called business directly however only a recording that "number is not in use" comes up, not even a message center. How the hell is a person suppose to get in touch with a live person!?
So I wonder if anyone will call me & if they will just continue to take money from my account. Haven't even stepped foot here and no one is around?? Maybe they will reply here.

There are not enough words to fully describe how wonderful Cat is! She has 10+ years of experience in esthetics and is truly a sugaring mastermind. I was around 13 when I first came in to get sugared. Having really sensitive skin, shaving and waxing were intimidating possibilities. Skin So Sweet changed the game for me! I have never touched a razor thanks to them.
The team has changed a bit since my last appointment, but Cat (the owner) and Barbara are my absolute favorites! Barbara has become a super close friend. I have been sugared by multiple staff and i have never left disappointed. These girls take pride in their work and do it well. Most of the time I was done within an hour for full legs and underarms.

I was skeptical about sugaring, untill I tried it! Arielle was amazing and made sure I was completely comfortable! I am quite squirmish when it comes to pain but I was surprised it was painless. Arielle talked me through and was patient with me. Cleanliness is a big deal for me and everyone, Arielle showed how important it was for her as well by showing me her disenfectant process easing my mind. My legs and arms have never felt smoother, no ingrown hairs which you always get with a razor. I really recommend sugaring over waxing and I'll definitely be back!

I'm sitting in the parking lot after leaving my appointment and I couldn't wait to write a review. Cat was incredible. She made me feel so comfortable, explained things along the way if I wanted and communicated about what she was doing and needed me to do. The sugaring was quick and more painless than any other sugaring I've had. The shop is gorgeous and inviting. It's weird to say this, but I can't wait to go back

I love the services when the appointments actually work out. I have been getting frustrated with the booking app as every time I have made an appointment on it there has been some kind of issue. Most of the time it's someone calling to change start time which I am more flexible with but today I received an email that my appointment had been canceled while I was sitting in the shop waiting to be seen. Super super frustrating when I drove 30 minutes to get here. My 9am appointment was canceled at 8:58am.

This review is for the eyelash extensions with Sara. Do not come here if you want to keep your real lashes healthy. I went to get a fill elsewhere, and she advised me to wait until my real lashes have healed and grown.

Calls are left unanswered, I scheduled an appt and had a few questions about a service I had scheduled and didnt get a call back from anyone. I had to cancel my services because I didnt want to get charged the service and not know if i'd even be tended too. Needs faster response time or a receptionist who answers calls. Disappointing, was looking forward to my first sugaring experience with you.

Cheryl another estetician at skin so sweet reached out to me the night I posted my first review. I had used her previously and loved her work so when she reached out to me I was happy to be able to see her again. Her knowledge and skill has brought me back to my love of sugaring. I went today for some brow work and am more and more amazed by her work. My brows are gorgeous and clean! Love Cheryl work. She's amazing!!

I still see Cheryl for sugaring about every 6-8 weeks and still love our time together! My hair growth is so minimal from years of sugaring that my service is really quick and painless.
Cheryl is welcoming, friendly, puts you at ease and HILARIOUS! She is completely professional and often shares her health and beauty knowledge that goes far beyond hair removal.
The spa is immaculately clean, smells fresh and the rooms are beyond comfortable. If you're lucky you may run into the owner

So this is my second visit and finding this place has been nothing short of a god send. After years of horrid razor burn and pain sugaring is the way to go and Barbara is awesome. I was picked her based on previous reviews and it was an excellent decision. She is fun, witty and has an entertaining sense of humor (huge pluses in my book).
