I am originally from coastal Massachusetts, where I grew up on the water sailing and fishing. After I graduated the US Merchant Marine Academy in 2012, I was commissioned into the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. My almost 9 year career mostly consisted of flying the Navy's new carrier airborne early warning aircraft (its a little bit of a mouthful, I know) - aka the E-2D Hawkeye.
