I'm driven to help you start your next chapter in life, whether it's applying for a fiance visa or taking the citizenship test. Towards the beginning of my legal career while still in law school, I thought I was going in a completely different direction. Estate planning was my goal. However, my work with local Catholic charities needed someone to help them with various immigration matters.
As I began working with clients, I quickly realized their tenacity and willingness to risk it all in order to provide themselves with a better life. As a result, I opened my own law firm in 2003 to help those in the Clearwater area with family immigration, business immigration, and citizenship matters.

Services
I have been working exclusively in the field of US immigration law since I was introduced to the field as a volunteer in 1998; it became my passion and has allowed me to help hundreds of clients in the decades since. My focus has always been on personal service and you will work directly with me, not a paralegal.
If a person wishes to become a United States citizen they must first meet certain requirements. Be a Lawful Permanent Resident (green card holder) for 5 years: or 3 years if married to and residing with a US Citizen spouse. There are different rules for the naturalization of members of the US armed forces.

My wife got her green card so that's great but all in all the experience wasn't my favorite. Sometimes I would have to email multiple times to get a response. When our application was submitted for both work authorization and green card, it took forever for the application to be approved. We heard nothing throughout this time period and we would have to reach out several times to see if things were ok and we always got very vague responses that began to make myself and my wife very frustrated. I was also told by Nancy that the fees incurred would be tax deductible, which they are not.

Nancy saved another little baby boy from getting deported! Began my life as a refugee, grew up here all my life in the US, went to school, graduated college, became a professional in my career and a small bump along my journey lead to a criminal charge that jeopardized my life. My green card expiration date was fast approaching and a grey cloud felt as if it was hovering over me getting darker as the days went on. Nancy's legal advice, expertise and compassion saved me from going back to a third world I know nothing of let alone speak the language. Thank you so much for the confidence and comfort
