Our Little Ninjas program is a detailed curriculum designed specifically to improve preschool-age children's basic motor and listening skills. These skills will help them become better students at school, better listeners at home and help them to enter society with greater confidence.

Little Ninjas learn to say "yes sir" and "yes ma'am", they learn to look adults in the eyes when speaking and are taught the importance of good manners, focus and self-control all in a fun, positive learning environment.
Little Dragons (for ages 5 & 6) at the Seung-ni Academy focuses on both the physical and the mental. On the physical side, which the kids love so much, we incorporate a lot of gross and fine motor skills, agility, balance, control and timing drills. We use a ton of imagination with these Taekwondo games to make it exciting for the kids.
Traditional martial arts training for young adults that builds confidence, creates friendships, instills perseverance & fosters life long fitness habits. Our teen Taekwondo class provides the perfect atmosphere for young adults to build their confidence, mind and bodies. The class is fun, fast paced and challenging while focusing on superior technique and self discipline.
Taekwondo training at the Seung-ni Academy is positive, fun and rewarding. From the crisp white uniforms to bowing as you enter and leave the tatami training mats - the traditional and respectful environment is the proper setting for learning the art. The Taekwondo training curriculum is uniquely designed for students of all levels and ability to progress at their own pace.
Jiu-jitsu in translation from Japanese means the gentle art. The martial art uses leverage, momentum, pressure and refined technique to take one's adversary to the ground and control and subdue them if necessary. The practical self defense system was specifically designed to enable a physically smaller individual to efficiently and effectively protect themselves against a larger and stronger attacker.

Everyone was so friendly and welcomy at Seoung-Ni. The level is very good and coach is great. They also have a beginners class if you want to try a new way of exercise and have fun at the same time.
Sadly I was only for a few days but I'm definitely coming back!

I love coming to this place! I look forward to the full body (dumbbell) weights and kickboxing classes almost every day after work and of course Saturday mornings. It’s all at your own pace and you never feel your holding anyone up or slowing anyone down. Jen is super inspiring and encouraging! I love the positive atmosphere, the music and of course the green glow lights during weights class 👍 This place is part of my daily routine and I would have it no other way! Highly recommend!

My entire family takes classes here, and the instructors are fantastic. We started taking our two boys here for classes when they were around 3-4 years old, and they loved it! The instructors are welcoming, kind, and funny! They have a knack for working with kids and my sons are always practicing their moves at home with sound effects included! It is so fun to watch them getting more and more skills, and my husband and daughter as well. I really think that martial arts is a great activity and life skill that they can carry with them. It definitely brings out the best in my family, and we are so

I love this place! Great workouts that are motivating but not intimidating. Kickboxing and Kickboxing Strength classes are fun and energetic and I can never believe how quickly 55 minutes go by. The gym is always clean and staff is helpful. Traverse City is lucky to have this gym.

I love the fitness classes at Seung-Ni! The instructors are great and very motivating. I have been coming here for several years and find it easy to hold myself accountable and looking forward to the next class. I enjoy the other members and friendly chatter before and after the workout. The everyone is welcome vibe is definitely what separates Seung-Ni from the rest.
Try a class and you will be hooked!

Seung Ni is the place to get the ultimate workout! All instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging. The facility is clean and spacious.
I started going to Seung Ni exactly 10 years ago at age 51. Before that time working out seemed to be my least favorite activity. Fitness classes at Seung Ni transformed my body and mind and Seung NI has become my favorite place to go to after work and on the weekends. So far I only participated in the fitness classes but Martial Arts is still on my bucket list.

Went in for an introduction to kickboxing with Kevin. Great guy, good energy, and very informative. Place is clean, gear is in good shape, and has a good vibe to it. They really help you get into it, give great clear instructions so you don't hurt yourself, and all around great attitude.
Going to the gym has never been my thing. Here it is FUN. Lots of variety, and also learning a valuable skill-set.
