Livingston Roofing was founded in 1957 in Livingston Parish, Louisiana by Clarence and Eve Chenevert. The company specialized in commercial and residential roofing installation, as well as sheet metal work. After a few years in business, the Cheneverts moved the headquarters to Baton Rouge. Their son, Skip, took over the business in the early 1980's and ran the business until he passed away in 2004.
In 2005, Chuck Chenevert opened the business as Livingston Roofing & Sheet Metal, LLC. As the third generation of roofers in his family, Chuck lives and breathes roofing. He is proud to carry on the legacy of craftsmanship and integrity set forth by his father and grandfather. Today, we offer residential and commercial roof inspection, repair and replacement, as well as sheet metal fabrication.

We got our 3rd price for a new roof from Chuck. Being a carpenter, my husband had already figured out about what it should cost us for material and labor. The prices from the first two companies were several thousand dollars over. Chuck’s price was right in the ballpark. The crew was on time and they got to work right away. They were all very nice, polite, easy to talk to and hard working. When an issue came up about our permit the foreman contacted Chuck right away. He and Sally both took care of it in no time. The roof looks great and with the clean up it looks like they weren’t even here

The roof looks great.
They did a very thorough pick-up, clean-up.
The crew was hard working, punctual, nice, friendly.
They worked in a safe manner- using tie-offs, ladders, appropriately so that we weren’t concerned about them on our steep roof.
The price was very competitive.
What else is there? Rarely if ever have I had a major project contractor and crew deserve a 5 star rating.
