Huntsville Health Care Center, located in Walker County, utilizes a team approach to meet the rehabilitative needs of our residents. Therapists communicate with nurses to monitor the individualized rehabilitation plans of care that are developed and carried out throughout the stay.
Consultant dietitians, dietary staff, and speech therapists work together to provide specialized diet textures and therapeutic diets for residents with swallowing or nutritional issues.Direct-care staff is frequently trained by therapy staff to learn specific treatment techniques for specific illnesses.

Some of the services offered here at Huntsville Health Care Center include Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy. We also offer advanced wound care, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and skilled nursing services, 24-hours a day. Individualized plans of care, assistance with activities of daily living, podiatry, psychological services, and specialized memory care services are available.
At Huntsville Health Care Center, we specialize in therapeutic services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our clinical team features Certified Wound Care Associates, Registered Respiratory Therapists, RN's, LVN's and CNA's. Quality of Life Managers are on site to provide life enrichment experiences.

Our respite care services are designed to give primary care-givers a break by providing planned or emergency care for individuals in need.

Huntsville health care is amazing. I always tell people that I’ve never worked a job where I was so invited. Where people from every department check in to make sure you’re confident and comfortable in your position, and offer to help in any way that they can. I’ve been here almost 5 months now and I haven’t had to look on indeed once (lol). I enjoy working alongside my team, and I love the greater good that we all work towards , which is assuring a pleasant, enjoyable, and lively stay for our residents.

I thoroughly enjoy working with my coworkers at Huntsville Health Care Center. It is a very light-hearted atmosphere that encourages me to go to work each day. I love working for this company because they recognize their employees in all departments and want them to strive for success. I wish I could give a 10 star review!

The thought of putting my mother into a nursing home was heart breaking. But after coming across Huntsville Healthcare and having the opportunity to personally speak to the administrator, Laura, who took time out of her day to ensure me my mother would be taken care of by her awesome staff I felt much better. This facility looks like the best place for my mother when it is time.

Trying to find a place that will treat your loved one with dignity and respect is hard. A family member asked me to go with them in their search for their Mom. This is a small nursing home, but it’s nice, clean, and the staff were knowledgeable and seemed caring. It is now on the list of our top three. We all like that it is small and that she would receive more care and not get lost in the crowd.

Wonderful facility! Staff was very knowledgeable and caring during my dad's recent stay. The first thing I noticed during the visit was how clean the facility was and how friendly his nurse and cna were. He made quick progress with the their help and the help of the therapy staff. His favorite part was the food! Not only did he love the food, we were both surprised by the service. He had choices and the kitchen went above and beyond even doing special orders. We will definitely recommend Huntsville Health Care to our friends and family and use them again if need be.
