Marine and land-based renewable power systems that meet your needs at the lowest possible cost. What We Do - While our specialty is design and installation of Renewable Energy Power Systems, by necessity our expertise extends to all of the power related equipment usually found on board your boat and in your home.
We start with a free evaluation of your existing power system and make recommendations on how to best lower your energy cost. Even if a renewable system is not suitable for your needs, we can evaluate problems and perform repairs, modifications and upgrades to your existing equipment that will improve its performance and lower its operating costs.

Services
Power systems that safely and effectively integrate all components to support the electrical needs of your vessel in the most cost effective manner. We buy solar panels in bulk and are dealers for the highest quality components available in order to provide you the lowest prices possible. Our many years of real-world experience with boats and power systems also ensure you get the optimal design and installation.
The power requirements of a boat dictate the size of certain equipment such as inverters, breakers and wiring, and the energy requirements mostly determine the size of the battery bank, solar panels, and other charging sources. Remember, power is how many watts (or amps at 12V) are being consumed at this moment, and energy is how much power you consumed over an hour or day (amp-hours or watt-hrs).
The design of your system will determine the safety, power and energy output, how long it will last and how reliable it will be. General Design Parameters - Once you have decided that you would like to add power with a RES, you have some basic choices from which to choose: wind, solar, and hydro. Chosing among these three is dependent upon your location and use of the boat.
These pages are here for the benefit of local and visiting boaters. St Marys is a boater friendly community and we at RSE want to do whatever we can to assist the boating community in any way possible. St Marys Boaters Association - The SMBA is a group of local boaters that keep their boats more or less permanently moored in the St Marys Harbor and want to participate in a "Neighborhood Boat Watch" program.
