Design + Build is a project method where the owner, architect, and construction manager function as an integrated team with a single-point of responsibility focused on reducing project risks and overall costs.
As architects, the approach to building design is a collaboration of the client's ideas, dreams, and needs and kerr 3's experience. Design begins with the very first conversation with a client. The initial conversation is developed into a building program and preliminary sketches. These sketches undergo modifications and revisions based on meetings with the client.
Design + Build is a project method where the owner, architect, and contractor function as an integrated team, which provides improved communication and understanding between all parties. The most important aspect of Design + Build is single source responsibility. Discrepancies between architect and contractor are eliminated, since kerr 3 design group and Red Sky Constructors are a unified team.
The approach kerr 3 takes in establishing a relationship with their clients can be outside the typical architect's role. They have coordinated and led visioning efforts with churches to get input and a sense of direction from individual congregation members on specific projects. They can consolidate input and data from clients and present it to an owner or committee as a starting point for a project discussion.
The two most important keys to passing a bond issue are informing the voters about the issues and reminding the supporters to vote. A significant advantage of the campaign video is being able to communicate the key messages from familiar faces including the superintendent, board members, students, teachers, parents, and civic leaders.

I contracted Kerr3 Architects to create plans for an extensive commercial building remodel for my web & digital marketing business. James Kerr and his team were professional and actually made the process enjoyable. The discovery process was thorough with several visits to our existing space to understand our space needs. Initial designs addressed our concerns and goals. 3D animations were created and helped us visualize the proposed remodel designs.
