Services
At Skinworks School of Advanced Skincare, our students are given the tools and knowledge to successfully and seamlessly transition from the student spa to the job of their dreams. Located in Salt Lake City, Skinworks has been dedicated to growing the minds of future estheticians since 1995. We offer students a robust education in the medical and laser side of skincare as well as the rewarding and relaxing side of the spa world.
Skinworks offers three programs in Esthetics, Basic Esthetics (600 hours), Master Esthetics (600 hours), and Comprehensive Esthetics (1200 hours), which is a combination of the two. In Basics we fill your 600 hours with Facials, Waxing, and Eyelash Extensions, giving you a well rounded education.
In Masters we include our 3 week Advanced Medical Modalities class which includes Laser (Alexandrite, YAG), IPL, and Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling).There is no extra charge for these classes, they are included in the students tuition. All courses also include our Business Classes, which run in 4 segments throughout the program.

In our Basic Esthetics Course we train our future estheticians in the application of skincare techniques. These include but are not limited to: theory of the skin, facial treatments, skin exfoliation techniques, product selection, waxing techniques, natural nailcare, eye enhancements, lash extensions, electrical & machine facial treatments, and makeup.
Throughout our Master Esthetician program, we prepare our students for the medical side of esthetics. We train on more aggressive treatments such as microdermabrasion and chemical exfoliation with the use of AHAs, BHAs, and Jessner Solutions. Our 3-week Advanced Medical Modalities & Laser class is provided at 900 hours affording the student adequate knowledge on the skin before graduating onto the medical devices.
Skinworks Comprehensive Esthetics Program offers motivated students the opportunity to move through the full 1200 hours without having to graduate from the Basics Program, offering a seamless education without a break in between the two programs. Our Comprehensive program first starts with our Basic Esthetics education where we train our future estheticians in the application of skincare techniques.
