Located at 610 Merchant in beautiful downtown Emporia, KS, Radius Brewing Company is a full-service restaurant as well as the town's first brewery since prohibition. The regular menu includes artisan-style appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and soups as well as wood-fired brick-oven pizzas. After 5pm the Chef's Menu, which rotates weekly, is available.
It typically features fresh seafood, steaks, pastas, and creative appetizers. All of this is complemented with our own line of craft beers which are brewed right in the middle of the dining room. A full bar with wine, bloody mary, and martini lists is also available for those who prefer something other than beer.

Services
Our menu is created by Chef/Owner Justin "Gus" Bays and prepared fresh from scratch every day by he and his culinary team. The open kitchen allows a great view of our rotating wood-fired brick oven, pizza doughs flying through the air, as well as providing an opportunity to see your whole meal being prepared.

We waited 30-45 minutes for a table for 6. Once seated, we studied the menu and then ordered only to learn they were completely out of burgers and chicken sandwiches, eliminating a large portion of the menu and many of our selections. We finally ordered and the food took an unexpectedly long time to deliver (we spent 2.5 hours at dinner). And they forgot to put in the Mac and cheese order. Not a pleasant experience unfortunately.

I still crave the Peanut Butter Stout which was oh so good!! A group of 3 enjoyed beer and dinner at this friendly Brewery. Would definitely return when in Emporia. Great beer selection - stout and porters excellent. Sharp and tangy beer cheese dip for an app paired perfectly with the pizza crust bread sticks. Burger special of the evening was delish as was the mac and cheese. Try the Porter Crème Brûlée for dessert, you'll be glad you did!

So many hard working employees staying on top of every customer. I sat at the bar ordered happy hour food and drinks. I was treated like local even though I was just passing by through Emporia. This is by far one of the top five breweries I have visited in my life. From employees to management entire staff and Owner which I didn’t meet I can proudly say very good job everyone. I will be returning every time to spend my time and money in this beautiful environment! Love you all!💕

I was excited to try this place, as it was one of the few big breweries in the state I hadn't visited yet. The Radius pizza was average; a bit too saucy and lacking in toppings. The service during lunch was slow. On a brighter note, the pretzel bread and beer cheese was fantastic, and the beer was top notch!! I had a Serrano pepper beer that I left with a growler with. The beer is among the state's finest!

Frustrating.... Ordered a very simple order to go (BLT, Reuben, Turkey, pep pizza and margarita pizza). Were told it would be 45 minutes. Got there at 45 minutes......Not ready yet, how long? checked with kitchen - 7 minutes....... after 90 minutes after ordering, we got our order. My pizza was cold - just frustrating. If it is going to take 90 minutes, tell customers that. Was not offered free dessert, N O T H I N G. won't be back.

Radius is my favorite restaurant in Emporia!
I love trying their new Chef menu and Brunch menu.
The staff are extremely nice and open to questions. They are friendly they used to divide food portions into different dishes whenever I am sharing the Chef menu with a friend, so I can try the whole menu.
The chef is a genius, I loved how he mixed different flavors and textures.
Like the salmon mousse, smoked duck, and many others.
The atmosphere of Radius is cozy and friendly. Sometime I waited for 15/20 to get seated but it was worth it.

They have a really balanced menu and maybe I just hit them on the wrong night. Tried the veggie cheesesteak sandwich and the prime rib sandwich. They were polar opposites as to how good they were, the cheese on the veggie cheesesteak was rubber and the vegetables has no flavor. I don't think I set the expectations high. The bread was like sawdust.
The prime rib sandwich was sliced super thin and by comparison and had an amazing buttery quality to and that just melted in my mouth. Again, the sawdust bead screwed them here.
This place needs a few tweaks and it would be a 4 instead of a 2

I have heard nothing but hype about Radius since I moved to Emporia and I have to say I was disappointed. I ordered an appetizer bruschetta and a margarita pizza and both were underwhelming and left something to be desired. The bruschetta wasn't even toasted which left the bread a bit soggy and added to the overall mehness of the meal. The pizza itself was flavorless and not at all what I was expecting based on previous reviews. The beers were the only decent part of the meal if I am being completely honest. I would give Radius another shot but based on this experience I wouldn't recommend

This local eatery is famous for its great beer but the food is top shelf as well.
Great appetizers. Try the pretzel bread and cheese dip. Yummo.
Sandwiches are big enough to split or eat til your stuffed. The Mac and cheese is the cheesiest.
I had the Brussel sprouts too.
Great brews! Delicious food! And wonderful desserts.
I want add that service is fast , friendly, and on top of you and your order and any other needs.
Top notch all around and sure to please any palate.
Oh I almost forgot the roasted pizzas
You just gotta stop and find your new favorite.

Belly up to the bar for a bottle of sudz and some fantastic grub!
This one is my local go - to brewery. The menu varies by season, it’s creative and fun. From salads & appetizers to pizza, sandwiches & entrees everything is 👍🏻 great.
I really like the house Bloody Mary, and the seasonal beers are done right. The staple brew William Allen Wheat 🌾 is mighty fine for your growler, or snag a crowler to go.
Don’t miss Sunday brunch for menu items like eggs Benny & breakfast pizza!
Go follow their social feeds for updates on live music in an intimate venue!

Hostess led us all the way to the back of the restaurant, past the dining area, the bar and the open kitchen to a smaller bar attached to the outdoor patio. So for anyone concerned about spacing people out, they have plenty of places to seat you!

We had a great experience- The Covid protocols made us feel really safe. Our server was really friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations our first visit.
The beer selection was solid, being from Kansas City several of the brews reminded me of Boulevard.
I have been following them on social media, and the food lived up to the hype Irl. We had the pretzel bites to start, and then a little bit of everything from the menu for entrées, including mac & cheese, a fish sandwich, and a burger. It was all really fresh and flavorful. Overall, a great way to relax and watch the March

We tried The Radius pizza and it didn't disappoint! I also had the Blueberry Avocado salad which was delish! The dressing was a vinaigrette. They have limited seating so the wait was rather long. 45 minutes for a party of 8. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We were in the area camping at Eisenhower State Park and went into Emporia for lunch. Will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

Initially i felt the hostess was off putting, maybe just a bad moment. Fortunately, our waitress was quite the opposite- friendly and talkative. Between the waitress, the service, the food, and the safety precautions during this pandemic we were thrilled.
The waitress, in addition to being friendly, was knowledgeable about the menu. We chose the following: jalapeño honey Mac and cheese, a cheese pizza, brussel sprouts, avocado blackberry salad, and blueberry bread pudding. All were great- the Mac and cheese had a nice kick, brussel sprouts cooked perfectly, pizza was fine (thin crust), flavors

This rating is for the excellent beer and service. The food was very lackluster and bland. The descriptions sounded great but what we ended up with was dishes I could easily make at home. I would focus on getting the beer here and maybe an appetizer or two. If it wasn't for the service and beer this would have been a one star rating.

Radius. Brewing company. Beer. Let's be clear that this place is about far more than the beer, but why go to a brewery if you don't like the beer? Well, I love the beer. I love it so much, I tried to take some home with me, but it wouldn't keep at room temperature - live yeast. Man. Disappointing yet delicious. The brown ale was nearly black, one of the best I've ever had, just lacked a tiny bit of warmth in the flavor. Then I had the coffee stout, which was fantabulous. Part of me wanted to bring back the crowler and have it in the hotel room. Part of me wanted to be awake

Dropped in after a morning bowling tournament before returning to our respective homes. Group of five....
Pleasantly greeted and shown great table with TV access do the guys could view THE CHIEFS!
We ordered several different beers and brunch items....Avacado Toast, Potaine (spelling?) and Black Bean Hummus.
Beer was beyond great....one guy had a flight, I had an Amber Wheat, others had the Port. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered
I shared the Potaine and Hummus dish. I would order the hummus again.
Pleasant atmosphere, great service, excellent prices!
Worth a visit if you&apos

We ate dinner here when we moved our son to ESU. Dog friendly on the porch! I loved the look of their Mule Menu, so I ordered the basil cucumber, but got the Irish. Still good. On Mondays they have $7 pizza and $2 pints. My son and husband enjoyed the porter, low 5 pale ale, and a William Allen wheat. The pizzas were decent, but the sauce was on the sweet side. I ordered a smoked salmon salad. They forgot the dressing, and after I asked for it, the waitress forgot, so I had to wait a while. Still, she was friendly, and the salad was good. We will definitely go back when we visit Emporia again.

Great food and great beer. Started it off with a porter. Very nice. Decided to split a pepperoni pizza baked in their brick oven. Very tasty. Hand tossed crust, large round pepperoni, oozing with cheese...it was really good. Server was friendly and welcoming. High top tables were near TVs. Added bonus, they had the Minnesota Gopher men's vs MI State basketball game on. Only a win from the gophs could have made it better.

Great beers and totally awesome peach cobbler!
Located in downtown Emporia right across from the Post Office, it's easy to find. (About 6 blocks straight out the gate of the University).
Cool interior brewery look with fermenting tanks etc behind glass right in the center of the room.
Even a party room in the back!

My friend had stopped here first and told me I had to check it out even though it was a bit of a drive to Emporia. When I did, I was not disappointed.
We were seated relatively quickly and immediately had an outstanding waitress. She was friendly and very helpful in choosing a beer. We ordered the prime rib sandwich, brick oven chicken sandwich, and scotch eggs. The prime rib was not as tender as I had hoped, but fair for a brewery. I would put the chicken similarly to a Panera chicken sandwich. The food was hot, fresh, and paired well with our drinks. The scotch eggs were not as great as I had

Good lunch food for a reasonable price. We were here for the GBO event and this was our hangout spot in between rounds. There was one day where I wanted wings but they ran out which was a huge bummer. Instead I got the BLT and Mac and cheese which were both really good.
Nice, open atmosphere, lots of seating
