David and Wendy have had the privilege of caring for children in the Carson Valley since 2009. What started as an in-home daycare, with a license to care for six children, has grown into two childcare facilities with the capacity to care for up to almost 100 children combined. We currently care for children ages ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
Our priority at Little Discoveries is providing a safe, clean and stimulating environment for your child. Our experience tells us that children learn best in a structured and predictable environment. We know there are many opportunities in your child's day that have the potential to be learning moments.
We are excited to announce our Carson City, Nevada child care center Small Wonders Early Learning Center is now open for business! License capacity at our new location is for 30 children leaving availability for several new full time students. Best decision My husband and I ever made was to pull my son from his day care provider to move him over to little discoveries. We were on a waitlist for a year and when the opportunity arose to enroll him we did. In a matter of weeks my sons attitude did a 180 and his temperament improved tremendously. The kid to teacher ratio is perfect! It is beyond difficult to choose the person to watch and help raise your child while you work, and I am beyond impressed and proud to have my son there. All the teachers are amazing and we love the family environment. Excited to now have my daughter there full

I LOVE Little Discoveries!!! My son isn't really a "people's person" but loves everyone there! Dropping him off every morning is always pleasant. My oldest child is 8 and she's gone to many daycares (due to relocating and other reasons) and iv never loved a daycare as much as I love little discoveries! With my oldest I was told to let them know if I had to drop her off on my day off for any reason and made it uncomfortable but with little discoveries, I can make dental appointments or whatever and he's always welcome. I can drop him off and pick him up whenever and they are always happy to have

I could not be happier with a daycare. I shopped around for a location that would be close to my job and they made me feel by far the most comfortable. Any issue that I have had, I have felt comfortable addressing immediately and corrections as needed were made. This family owned and run business clearly loves every kid that walks in the door and it shows in the children's faces. I have never had any issues with the staff and the way that they treat my daughter or me. I really love Little Discoveries Daycare and would recommend it to anyone.

We LOVE Little Discoveries and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for quality care!! A family atmosphere with tons of fun and learning for the littles! My 3 year old has come out of her shell and looks forward to going to school to learn each day!! I know when I leave my babies to go to work, that they will be loved and cared for like they would at home!
