Mauricio's Italian Restaurant

Best food in town with a great atmosphere. Staff is above and beyond every time I’ve been there. The only classy restaurant around and we have a lot of restaurants. You will pay for it but it’s worth every penny.

Food was great, house wine was very good, and server was very accommodating. Arrived without reservations which is required, but they were able to accommodate us anyway. Finding without map app would have been difficult, but worth the trip.

Have been coming here for 15 years. Our go to Italian place and have never been disappointed until tonight. Do not order Tuscan ribeye. They should have gone to Walmart it would have been better. I am 56, and not my worst steak it is in top 5. It cost 30 dollars. Waitress brought out wrong wine, 15 minutes between appetizer and salad, then couple next to us who came in 20 minutes after us received entree first. So disappointing for a place we used to rave

Just got home with very full bellies! As Chicago area transplants, we are very used to high quality Italian cuisine. That being said, Mauricio's was the finest Italian food we have tasted in 6 years!!
Stacy, our wait staff, was very friendly, attentive and a true pleasure to talk with.
On to the food, we were very pleased with each and every aspect of our meal. Served quickly, but not rushed, all food was hot and salad plates cold as it should be in a high end restaurant.
All in all, it was a very very satisfying experience!!
We will be back!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everything was excellent. Our server was attentive but left you alone. Service was at a nice slow pace. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. I had truffle stuffed ravioli and my husband had shrimp scampi. Tough making a choice as all options sound delicious. We will definately return.

We chose to spend our Anniversary here and it was relaxing, the lighting was perfect, music wasn't too loud, the atmosphere was perfect. Loved the feel of the place and the how the restaurant looked on the inside and outside. Food was very delicious. My husband had the lamb chops, must get the lamb chops!
I had the Seafood Mauricio and omg it's a must get as well. Both dishes were cooked to perfection.
Our server was professional, kind, and knowledgeable of the menu and we will be eating here again!

Really a 4.5, but Google won't allow partial stars. The service was excellent. My Mauricio's Seafood pasta was great but a bit saucy and heavy. It needed a little lemon zest or juice to lighten and freshen it up. My husband's dish was a little saucy too. We had half and half tea with lime, and speaking as a southerner, their tea is great. I had a cup of coffee after dinner, which was an excellent roast. They provide half and half creamer and not the fake stuff, so 5 stars on that! The creme brulee was wonderful and smooth. My husband and I went tonight for the first time for our wedding anniversary, and it was amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful, the decor and character of the house are great eye candy as well as conversation starters. Our server AMANDA was very sweet and gave us great service! We enjoyed our food very much, infact my husband might be more in love with the lobster ravioli than me 😂 We absolutely enjoyed our visit. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be going again. Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Five stars!😊

The food is ALWAYS AMAZING! I love this place for special celebrations or just lunch with the girls during the week. I HIGHLY recommend the Seafood Maurico 👍👍❤❤. This also the place I have found for Fresh Veal dishes too YUMMY!!

Family visiting from out of state wanted to treat my husband and I to a nice italian dinner. I knew exactly where we needed to go. I made a reservation yesterday and explained one member of our party had mobility issues. Upon our arrival we were promptly seated in a very nice room which was easy to traverse. Our waite staff, Chelsea, was attentive, polite and had a smile. The food was presented as a gift....appealing to the eye and taste buds. Have a special occasion or just want to treat someone to a special location. This is the place.
