Dr. Paul K. Tran is our therapeutic optometrist and proud of his reputation of being the best eye doctor in Laredo, TX. He received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Florida in 1988 and went on to get his Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1992.

I’ve been going to Dr. Tran’s office for over 10 years and his service has always been great and professional. I’ve also had the chance to visit with Dr. Peña, who has been a wonderful addition to his practice. Lastly, his staff is always polite and helpful in setting up appointments and ordering my contacts. I went to Tran Vision Center last week for eye care. I was pleased with the staff that is friendly and courteous. Service was fast and very efficient. I was seen by Dr. Tran, who took the time to explain in detail findings and offered the best treatment plan for me. I could easily see that Dr. Tran loves his job as he is very dedicated and takes the time to explain findings and answered all questions I had for him. After seeing Dr. Tran I felt at ease knowing I was in good hands of a caring doctor. I would strongly encourage anyone that needs eye care to visit this center.

Overall, my husband and I had a great experience at Tran Vision Center. When we arrived, we had a relatively short wait.
The care team who did our eye exams, NCT test ("puff of air in the eyes"), dilated our eyes, and took pictures of our eyes was very thorough and professional.
I saw Dr. Peña who was fabulous. She was thorough and knowledgeable, and she never made me feel silly for asking questions. I've been coming to Tran vision center for a few years now, and it is always a great experience! I can book an appointment online, there is never any issues with my insurance, staff is very helpful and friendly. Love Dr Tran and his office staff. I was a patient for over 10 years and was really bummed when he stopped accepting my insurance. However, after a couple of years I was able to come back and I still received the same great treatment. The staff is always so helpful and Dr Tran makes the visit feel personal not in a hurry like other drs. I was extremely impressed when one of the ladies still recognized me despite the face masks. Totally recommend this office.

I am very happy that I visited Tran Vision Center 2 times already. The level of professionalism and the superior customer service have convinced me to maintain our patient-doctor relationship for long time. I needed urgent care and I called, and there were no appointments available. But I was offered to leave my phone number in case somebody cancel, and they called me and took care of my need. I have been a patient of Dr. Tran for over 20 years. The care he provides is exceptional. He takes his time in answering all my questions and concerns. The staff is excellent in accommodating me and at the same time making arrangements so I can also bring my mother along to her appointment. Mom feels more at ease if I’m present during her examinations and the staff are kind enough to make sure she feels at ease. One word to describe their service-exceptional.

Once again I find myself here to write an update about this business. I had moved on from my terrible experience and got a notification that this business responded to my rating and review. I believe they are not pleased with my review that they felt they had to defend themselves. Let me tell you that my experience was so upsetting that I made a consumer complaint with the state of Texas attorney general. The doctor, who by the way was never present during this ordeal, first says on my review response that they are sorry I had a bad experience because that is unheard of of their business. Other
