Chrystina is a Licensed Esthetician receiving her license in 2016. She specializes in face and full body waxing, facials, chemical peels, extractions, and all aspects of skincare. She also performs eyelash extension applications, along with eyebrow and eyelash tinting. Chrystina is consistently learning new techniques and skills, in order to offer her clients the best and most up to date services she can.

Yesterday was my first visit to The Strand for a cut and blow dry with Rachel, who was so welcoming. I was so impressed with the way she took the time to find out what style I was looking for, and then talked about the ways we could make that happen and still be manageable for me.
I felt pampered and so relaxed as Rachel did her magic, while showing me lots of tricks for dealing with my hair type.
I left the salon feeling refreshed and good about how I looked, and made sure to book another appointment. Thanks Rachel!!

The Strand is great! I needed a complete hair overhaul, and Rachael did a beautiful job! I went from shoulder length to a asymmetrical pixie cut - and she skillfully addressed my weird requests! My haircut turned out great, I feel much better, and I'm STILL getting compliments on my hair a month later! Definitely recommend the Strand. Their prices are really great as well. One note: Google maps has trouble finding the place. Search for "rock shop" in Putnam and go there. The salon is in the same strip mall. :)
