Whirlwind Post Holes & Fencing LLC is one of the only companies north of Madison to own and operate a Dandy Digger machine for contract hole drilling. Don't spend hours, or even days breaking your back digging several post holes. We will bring our Dandy Digger in and will get the job done fast. Hard digging conditions such as rocks, tree roots, or bedrock are subject to additional charges.

Western Red Cedar is an attractive fence board and it is famed for its extraordinary durability and resistance to decay. The fence board color is extremely attractive, varying from almost pure white of the narrow sapwood to the light straw shade of dark reddish-brown of the heartwood.
The wood of Western red cedar has a very low coefficient of expansion, so that it does not shrink, swell or warp excessively, even when subjected to changing degrees of temperature and moisture.The wood is saturated to every fiber with natural preservative oil which renders it virtually immune to decay and gives it extreme durability without artificial preservative treatment.

This company took 3 months after our initial meeting to commit to a time to install our very expensive fence. They had our 50% down payment and wouldn’t talk to us. We called them multiple times in the intervening months and were continually brushed off by the secretary. When it was installed the fence was the wrong size and they left huge gaps instead of tying into Existing fencing. We were not told about the gaps. I found out when my dogs got loose and were running down a very busy road.

We just had our fence done by Whirlwind. I must say the process from beginning to end was great. Chris did a great job on the sales end.
Jaden and Noah were a great crew. They did a great job. Most importantly to me, they listened to what I had to say. They also gave their thoughts about things also. Whirlwind was straight forward through the whole process.

Had Whirlwind install a fence at my rental property. Not only did the guys show up on time, they fully explained the process to me, and answered all my questions. When an issue came up they instantly called me to talk through our options (issue was on our end not something they did). After the install they cleaned up and followed up to make sure we didn't have any other questions. Their pricing was fair and lower than other estimates I received. Very pleased and HIGHLY recommend them to my friends and family.

Warning! We had a repair estimate done on a fence that Whirlwind had originally installed. The original estimate was under $1000. The estimate is only good for 30 days. When we called for a new estimate after the 30 days I received an estimate of $1500! That's a 51% increase! Same repair, same job. Buyers beware! Update. Our fence was less than 8 years old. Post master warranties all their posts yet whirlwind was more than happy to overcharge for repairs that are warrantied. Not to mention the cedar planks are odd sized and the laterals were installed upside down causing sag.

Whirlwind Post Holes & Fencing is a great company to work with. Chris gave us an estimate and addressed all of our concerns. The fence was installed on time, and the guys that did the on site work were friendly. They did a great job. Many of our friends have commented that the fence is very attractive. I definitely recommend Whirlwind if you need fencing.
