This is for the drive-through coffee.. it was 5:30 PM and I really wanted a cup after a long day with my three little kids. They were closed when I pulled up at the window, but then a very beautiful girl came up and said she could make me a drink even though they were closed. She was so kind and I want to thank her for going above and beyond even though she didn't have to. So much gratitude for such a wonderful employee. This is one happy mom!

Was PROMISED that my flower arrangement would be delivered TODAY....well they are liars. They would not tell me exactly where they were located. Assumed they were actually IN Grass Valley. Checked on my order with order number and it said would not be delivered until Christmas ! This was supposed to be a birthday arrangement sent on the Birthday like I was promised. They we're sure they could send this "same day", no problem. Didn't happen. Thanks for nothing, if I had know this couldn't be done would have tried elsewhere. Very dissatisfied.

I called for an arrangement to be delivered quickly in Nevada City to my sweetie and to use their judgment on what would look nice with the flowers on hand. Well they delivered them in a very short time and she loved them. Everyone I talked to was exceptionally nice and helpful. I (and Peggy) could not be happier!

I called Grass Valley Florist this last Saturday last minute to have some balloons delivered to my son at his work. They were so pleasant and even though they closed in a couple hours they made it happen. I will definitely use Grass Valley Florist again, they were super nice and incredibly accommodating.

We used GV Florist for our wedding and I just want to say that Ingrid is incredible! My husband and I had barely finalized our colors when we went in to discuss wedding floral with her. I showed her a single picture on Pinterest of what I was thinking for my bouquet and she nailed it and made it even more beautiful than the picture was! We had a fall theme and she was able to supply us with fall leaves and colors to fit in perfectly with our pumpkins and decor (again, all based of a single picture I gave her). I would definitely use her again if I ever find myself in need of flower arrangements

Something has changed here in the last six months. My husband has used this florist for flowers for me for 6 years and until recently everything was fine. The last 3 deliveries have really been less than stellar. None of the arrangements even had one flower the same and looked like they had been thrown into the vase from across the room. Even the replacement bouquet was sad. Then yesterday a colleague went to purchase an arrangement or loose flowers for a retirement gift and was rushed and treated rudely by the woman who helped her. Not sure what has changed but all of us where I work are done

I moved to Grass Valley recently and received a generous coupon in a "welcome basket" for this business. Free coffee and a long stem rose.
I really appreciate being welcomed like this to this community. It was a big move for me with fears about starting over in a new place. Being offered free coffee and a rose may seem like a small gesture but it was huge KINDNESS to me. Thanks to this business owner for making me feel welcome to the community.

First off, this review is long overdue. Second, let me just say that ordering flowers is super overwhelming. 244 options, red, blue, roses vs no roses, this ones $75 but if you spend $100 you get this style. Don't forget the vase color, oh wait, it doesn't match the... (AHHH!!!). If paying your girlfriends cell phone bill was as romantic as flowers it wouldn't been an easy $100 transaction.
I've always been a fan of shopping local. I pulled up Yelp and found GV Florist to have good reviews. I ordered a $100 bouquet for my girlfriend, which she loved. Vibrant, great selection

I received flowers from my husband for my birthday. He used GVF because of the Yelp reviews. The arrangement was delivered to me and they were beautiful! I was very pleased with the look and size of the arrangement. When my hubby saw it, he was happy with it but he was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a peacock feather in the arrangement. Apparently when he selected my arrangement one of the draws was the feather. So, he called the shop and spoke with the owner who was super apologetic and said that he could come in and get a peacock feather anytime. She said that the peacock feather
