Douglas Cooper founded Diversified Kitchens in 1999 and has been serving Fairfield and New Haven county professionals and homeowners ever since. Learning his craft beginning with building custom kitchens by hand for 12 years, Doug fell in love with cabinetry and kitchen design. Doug understands quality.
Douglas Cooper is the founder and lead designer for Diversified Kitchens. Doug designs cabinetry for every room in the house. He simply loves wood, the grain, the color, the texture, all of it. Not only does Doug design for his clients, he also offers recommendations as a team leader. In addition, Doug takes mentoring young designers very seriously by giving them an education from ground up.

Quality is okay, not great. The cabinets lack finishing touches underneath and inside (on corner cabinet ) where there are track holes and screws showing through clear glass. Does not look good and company will not fix either area without charging extra. Track for waste basket and recycle comes lose. Also, disappointed with lack of transparency on costs of cabinets. We asked for pricing while in show room, and sales person told us to check with our contractor ? I have asked for this information numerous times and Diversified will not provide this information. Buyer beware

We just wrapped our kitchen remodel and I can't speak highly enough of Frank Marini and Diversified Kitchens. The quality of the cabinets is fantastic and the design, ordering, install of cabinets and install of counters could not have gone easier. A remodel is incredibly stressful in the best of situations but we were fortunate enough in our complete kitchen gut to have someone we can trust to help us with the key pieces. Frank was kind, courteous and clearly has an incredible attention to detail when it comes to working with his clients and is trusted by tradesmen.

We have just had our kitchen re-done. Diversified Kitchen of Huntington CT managed to give us everything we needed and wanted.
Doug was very patient and helpful with us during the cabinet and counter top selection. He guided us through the planning and layout with many valuable suggestions. He showed us all the options available from the different cabinet manufacturers. He took us to the stone yard where we picked out the very slab of granite that would be in our kitchen.
The installer was a true craftsman. In addition to the cabinets, he also took care of the plumbing and electrical requirements
