Dr. Black provides all phases of family dental care from preventative and restorative, to cosmetic procedures. Preventative care includes regular checkups, cleanings, and x-rays to detect problems before they become painful problems. When you do need a filling, extraction, root canal, crown, or implant, Dr. Black will discuss your options, questions, and concerns, so that you can make the best decision for your treatment.

I cannot say enough to properly give this Dentist and his staff the credit they so greatly deserve. First let me say that I am not local to this area, I was in the area for business and experienced a dental emergency. I was provided with prompt, courteous service and was blown away by his bedside manner. As if this was not enough, I was then given my bill and was yet again pleasantly surprised. In a world were it seems that we are all just a number to most Dr's, this practice really made me feel like I was considerably more than that. Wasn't sure about this dentist at first but upon going back I am very satisfied with the service. He is very straight forward and honest. I had to get a root canal done and he came in early to do it and the process was painless. He even gave me his cell umber to follow up with him if I have any issues while he is on vacation. I am very pleased with him and his service so far.

He took numerous X-Ray pictures when crowning over a cracked tooth 5 years ago.. I had no pain around it before and after the procedure, yet he prescribed opioid after his treatment, Now the pole he put in gets inflammation from time to time. Three dentists here in Pittsburgh suggest it need redone.

Gentle Family Dentistry---That sums it up. I have (or should say had) a fear of the dentist until I started seeing Dr. Black. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and is proud of his work. He includes you in all of the decisions on any work that you may need done and provides the best options that will work for you. He does stellar work and is a perfectionist. Dr. Black truly practices "gentle" dentistry. I highly recommend his practice. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming.
