At Core Physical Therapy in Sheridan, Wyoming, we are passionate about patient centered care and providing the highest quality of care through a customized therapy program focused on helping patients achieve their goals. At Core Physical therapy, we know that certain conditions and injuries are best treated while you are in water maintained at therapeutic temperatures.
Core is located in a new state of the art facility that was built in 2018. Located in the Whitney business development which is centrally located in Sheridan, next to the M&M's indoor hockey/ice center. You will find a large parking lot with a heated sidewalk to enter the facility. If parking is an issue our staff will park your car.
At Core Physical therapy, we know that certain conditions and injuries are best treated while you are in water maintained at therapeutic temperatures. Aquatic or water therapy, provides a safe, effective environment to positively impact movement, strength and function. Aquatic therapy uses buoyancy to support your weight, reducing the pain and stress placed on specific muscles and joints and enabling greater freedom.
Loss of balance and dizziness are common problems. They can be caused by your inner ear (vestibular) system. Our therapists at core use exercises and treatments to help your brain make up for a loss of inner ear function. They will also teach you exercises that improve your balance by promoting strength, coordination, and physical fitness.
Typically to see improvement in strength and muscle gains, resistance training at >65% of your one-rep max is needed. With PBFR exercise, similar gains are possible at loads as low as 20% of your one-rep max. If you are unable to lift heavy weights or if pain is limiting your ability to perform certain exercises, PBFR could be very helpful.

Hands down, the best PT place in Sheridan. Would recommend to all.
The PT: Katie was laser focused on my ankle and building a strategic recovery plan from Day 1 while still being fun to work with and personal. Clearly very experienced with a genuine passion for getting clients back to mobility.
The space: Beautiful, bright, open, and inspiring training/exercise area with modern farmhouse vibes and top notch equipment and icing wraps.
The experience: Sarah at the front desk made setting up my first and recurring appointments super straightforward. They are flexible, quick, organized, and you

Following a hip labral repair surgery I chose core PT to get me back into running, hiking, fishing and mountain biking. I had an amazing experience with all the therapists that work at core. Integration of the Stott Pilates Reformer was an amazing addition to my rehab which was very different than anything I have done in the past. If you're having any pain, whether its from something as intense as a surgery or as annoying as that achey low back pain come to Core PT. They'll give you the best quality care.

I went to a larger, well known local therapy center in town with a prescription for therapy from my shoulder surgeon. They happened to be closed on a business day, with no signage to correspond. Thankful that fate had its way and I ended up at CORE. There's not one complaint I can issue against the service and moral of the staff. Sad that I only have "X" amount of visits per insurance practicals. To summarize, I am well ahead of the progress my surgeon expected, and even the CORE staff. Disclosure, I'm in my 30's, usually the youngest person in the room
