We have used CPC Painting a number of times over the years - painting the trim on our house, staining our deck and fence, and several rooms in our house. Willie is a straight shooter, and a local. He always does good work, makes a fair offer, and if his material costs are less than projected will return that part of the expense. It's always been a pleasure working with him, and I expect we will again in the future!

I had hired Cabarello Painting Contractors twice before for my rental property, so they were my go-to hire to paint my condo before new tenants were moving in. I called up Willie (the owner) and scheduled about a month ahead of time as we had a tight timeframe between move out and move in. I paid the deposit to secure the slot.
At the time of booking, I informed Willie that per my condo building’s rules he had to sign a Certificate of Insurance (COI). This is required for all venders (plumbers, movers, contractors) that do work in the building as it is a high rise. No other contractors/vendors

Update: Apparently if you are critical and review CPC you will be called out as a coward, a schemer, and accused of racial bias by the owner. All because I was following the condo associations rules, especially since my wife is the president of the board, as mentioned. It's a bold strategy cotton, let's see if it pays off for him! He also fails to mention that his conversation with Crystal (a black woman since we're mentioning race) took place 3 days before the job was to be done (and almost 3 weeks after he told me he'd send over the COI). I used CPC to both paint our exterior brick grey & stain our deck/screened-in-porch. I’m giving Willie & his team my highest recommendation. They were very detailed oriented, timely, and super professional. There was zero nickel & dime-ing. In fact, Willie was more critical during our pre-walkthrough than my wife & I. Willie, Freddy, and the rest of the team did an amazing job painting the interior trim and doors inside of our house. We were moving into the house with a week to spare, and the team was able to come out next day and bring enough people so that a two-day job could be completed in one day. His team was very knowledgeable about the type of paints to use, and I couldn't be happier with the end product. Everyone was very kind and respectful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone else searching for a paint job! I am going to keep them in mind when performing additional work in the future.

Excellent communication and extremely responsive; had a response email within minutes of initial inquiry! Work was done professionally and quickly, and painters wore masks and were extremely respectful and quiet while our kids were in the other room during their online schooling.

We were on a tight time-line because of a move. Three others painters had been scheduled and ALL cancelled at the last minute for various reasons. We called CPC and explained the situation. Not only did they agree to take the job and complete it within our allotted time-line, they exceeded our expectations with the quantity of their work. Very professional, virtuous and detail oriented. We have already recommended them to a number of friends. They have earned our loyalty!!

Caballero painting did an incredible job on our home. Willie, Freddy and the rest of the team went the extra mile at every turn to make sure that we were happy and we absolutely are! The dark paint color needed extra coats to look its best and they did not hesitate to keep working until the quality was 5 star. Just finished having my kitchen remodeled which required removing two walls. The ceiling was left very discolored from the reno, but these guys were able to make it look flawless! They were extremely flexible with my schedule and very well priced. I would definitely recommend CPC Painting if you are looking for high quality work and professional painters.

Had a great experience. Called in and it was super easy setting up my appointment. They came in precisely at the scheduled appointment time and got to work. They prepped the pathway so my place didn't get dirty. They communicated every step of the way on what they were doing. I felt comfortable leaving the house to run errands. When I got back it was just about done. They did the walkthrough pointing out minor details that I really appreciate.

We hired Willie to do a large painting job on my house a few years back. His workers did a decent job, so I called him a few years later for a wallpaper install on an office. He quoted me $1800 which I agreed to because I have never had wall paper installed and I assumed that's the going rate. It did not include prep or moving furniture. He asked me to have the contractor who was working on my basement complete the prep, which we did, but it was not good enough. After an aggressive discussion over the phone with Willie, I asked his wallpaper installers to leave and I went forward to hire a

Caballero Painting Contractors came out to do some wall repair, painting, and to install some rails for window treatments. Everything came out great! Willie was always responsive throughout the process, offered his professional opinion, and gave us just what we were looking for. He worked around my schedule, kept up with our changes, and even came back over a weekend to make sure everything came out exactly as we wanted! I can't recommend his work enough.

Edit: After I posted this review Willie has continued to harass and threaten my mother by email and voicemail. I found out too late that he has a history of doing this. Willie Caballero of Vienna, VA has previously been charged with Stalking, Telephone Radio Abuse/obs/threat as well as having violated a protective order.

She was absolutely not happy with the work his crew did, but did pay in full because he threatened to sue for non-payment because he refused to listen to our complaints in person and she did not want a lawsuit.


Original review: It was a bad experience having him stain and caulk

Willie was very prompt and communicative as he came to check out my place twice before the painting day and responded quickly to emails and calls. He managed to get a team to accomplish a large job in one day, which was helpful to get our house on the market ASAP. The part that impressed me most was the multiple holes they filled in (some large) from screws in the wall and it looked like they were never there! Well done!

Caballero Painting Contractors is a very professional and reliable company. Starting with a small painting job which included drywall repair, we were so pleased with how beautifully the work was done we keep calling Willie and his crew back to do more jobs.

They show up when they say they will and clean up every day so that we can move through the house without encountering a mess. They take particular care to cordon off rooms with tape and plastic so that the dust will be held to a minimum.

Since his business includes both outside and inside work, it has worked well for us being flexible

Willie was very professional, thorough, did what he said he was going to do and his guys were top notch. He powerwashed my mom's deck and sidewalk and took care of an issue on her roof. I found them on a fluke and ended up speaking to Willie (the owner). He gave me a ton of time explaining the details of the job even though it was not a big job. I would highly recomment them and I will use them again. Plus I love to patronize local family owned business.
